About to embark on Skoda ownership, Superb L&K Estate
Goodness me, you have had some really bad luck with bolts etc on this car. Although it would take twice as long (!) I would finish one job and move onto the next when completed, for fear of not nipping up that crucial bolt. Do you mark the bolts once tightened? Anyway you are moving forward and if you ever have to get under the car again, at least you know it won’t be such a struggle. Look forward to your ‘adventures’ with the suspension.

About to embark on Skoda ownership, Superb L&K Estate
Don't butcher the clips, if the Knipex don't do the job, take a dremel and cut a slot or grind the top off. As an aside, can't believe how much rust there is under the car, makes me want to check mine in a bit more depth 🙈

Any concerns buying a 2015-2016 Superb?
HI, that appears to be a MK2 face-lift, so maybe ask in that forum as people should have more knowledge. Having said that I ran a Elegance in that specification upto 100K miles and the only issue I had was the front window failing as the wires in the door post became trapped and broken, a common issue. It was serviced regularly, tyres and brakes taken care off when necessary, so I did try and look after it :-)

Triangular lamp under matrix lights
Hi @szking, As your car is a Sportline, those triangular lights (under the headlight) are not lights, just fillers. On some of the Superbs with a lesser spec' these are used as side-lights. Have a look with a torch and see if there's a bulb there, I don't think there is, certianly there isn't on my car. The fog lights will come on individually when turning left or right and both come on when you reverse.

Superb III Sportline - Mission Impossible Spec
iIs it not possible to have these pipes remade, or do you need a pattern to work to? Webasto sell the heater to fit the Superb, it is just the heater and no ancillaries they market?

2023 Superb 280 Sportline Plus 4x4. A good buy?
I wouldn’t worry about them being for sale for that length of time. They are expensive cars to start with, (don’t forget the increased VED for the first few years), there is new model coming out in the UK autumn of this year and people have other concerns with the cost of living, so i think there are fewer people with that kind of disposable income. You are purchasing from a dealer, with a warranty so I wouldn’t be too concerned. I bought mine, sight unseen in lockdown from a dealer and had no issues. They are great cars and mine is a keeper, until i can get a Mk4 at a decent price.

DCC driving in sleet/snow
Just a thought, but wouldn't putting your new all seasons on the front be a better option for steering control and traction on a front wheel drive car, rather than a set of part worn summer tyres? You can always change back when the cold weather has gone, just remember the 'Beast from the East' didn't start until 22nd Feb 2018, so a few days to go until we reach that miletone !

Superb III Sportline - Mission Impossible Spec
I have to ask @ApertureS, all these fantasctic projects on your car, is this a full time job for your or a hobby, do you have an engineering background? The level of complexity involved is mind-blowing, who knew what a HSD connector was! ..and finally, where are you sourcing all the information for these retrofits? Anyway hats off to you.👌

Superb III Sportline - Mission Impossible Spec
No questions in particular, just interested as I have always thought it would be an excellent addition to my car. Are you going to prepare a ‘How to” guide? Only issue is the cost!

Superb III Sportline - Mission Impossible Spec
Waiting for the Webasto Parking Heater chapter, if you can sort this before the end of January it would be appreciated 😀

Problems with side mirrors
Too lazy to clean with contact cleaner, that’s the easy fix that you asked for in your post. Otherwise take to the dealer and let them sort it out or replace with a new item.

Co2 levels? Road Trip Norway
I have the 2018 280ps combi, I am trying to fill a form for Norwegian toll tag (Fremtind) and it asking for Co2 but only allowing 2 characters. I can see a level of 0.352 g/km but it will not accept or 164 g/km (I know these are more than 2 :-)) Anyone of our Scandinavian friends that can help me @brettikivi? This is in preparation prior to a trip to Bodo in February.

Current Factory Delivery Times
Think the Royal Green with the cognac interior in a 280 combi would be VERY tempting for me, if only I could find one...!

New to me L&K Superb: spare wheel question please
My 2019 L&K has the space saver T125/70/R18 and associated jack, wheel brace in the specific foam holder and it fits perfectly. As you will see on the many threads on this forum, going for a full size spare, unless you do some investigation, will give you issues on the floor mat not fitting

New (to me) Superb woes
HI, you should be getting onto the dealer that sold you the car about the leaks, my intial thoughts would be sunroof drains. I think the part you are looking for is 'Cover Trim- Right' 3V0 807 834 B F9R, but check first with your dealer to be 100%, it's about £25.00.

Superb Mk4
Yes agree. Looks great, quality interiors and the controversial buttons seem to work from the demos, Waiting for the configurations online and the dealer to make contact.

spare wheel size
IMHO, it’s a spare, you aren’t going to be running for 100’s miles on it. Just look at the ‘official’ spare that is supplied for 19 inch wheels, tyre width and offset massively different to the alloys. OK max 50 mph but its for temporary use. As and aside, piece of closed cell foam cut to the shape of the boot floor with the ‘extra’ width of the new tyre/wheel combination cut out as well will allow your carpet to fit perfectly on top.
