I think it can be done with a resistor, but someone who actually done it would have to confirm it as I'm not 100% sure.

Most pads are designed like that (tapered ends). What you don't want is the whole pad to be tampered. Did you break/bed in the brakes correctly before any hard braking?

If mine are no good, there are plenty of people who break them in the FB groups.

No. 167 Found. Currently, for sale in Consett. 2007 Skoda Fabia VRS Special Edition Pure Drive (#167/1000) Completely stock example other than aftermarket double DINN radio (bluetooth etc). It has had 3 owners, 169,139 miles on the clock, MOT'd until 12th November 2022. Has original 6 disc changer under passenger seat. Mechanically sound car with some service history included. Has had new expansion tank fitted along with new passenger bottom ball joint and two coolant sensors as well as retrofitted Octavia VRS front brake discs with Brembo pads. Full black leather VRS interior with blue seat piping and production number stamped into the seats beneath the embossed VRS logos. As you can see it is 167/1000, a good example of this very rare model. Overall body work is is in great condition but there are a few spots that indicate the car's age. A small rust patch is visible on the bonnet near the front grill as seen in the photos. It also has other age related marks and a small dent in the passenger front quarter panel. Overall in great, clean condition for how old the car is. It isn't a brand new car so please don't expect showroom quality but it has been looked after. It's great on fuel, it's quick and picks up like it should. My son found it to be a reliable car in the short time he used it and he loved it but due to his job he changed cars. My last unit from TPS was £190, I nearly fainted... They said there was a surcharge as long as you've got a unit to replace. This was a few years back and in the end it cost me £90. A bit steep, but better than the original asking price. 🙂

So, I've found an old lady that has a SE. I saw her yesterday but she turned off down a road (I was hoping that she was going shopping). If I see here again (which I do sometimes), I'll go and speak to her and find out the SE number and then try to buy it... 😆

Think I saw this a couple of months back. There's a Red MK1 Octavia vRS in West Wickham that's parked up. So, I'll keep a look out for you. And, rear parking sensors too.

I'd give TPS a ring and see what kind of price they offer on these, as it may be competitive for an OEM quality product.

It’s also possible that the SAI pump can throw the light on. It does on my Red vRS, but I refuse to delete it all. But I’d recommend getting the car scanned again to see what’s throwing the light on.

Codes relate to; MAF Sensor, All x4 coil packs. And, the last is your: Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor. Are the above codes after it being cleared, or before?

If you want to test the door next time, just put a screwdriver in the lock instead of shutting it. At least this way you wont be swearing at yourself!

Blimey, don’t ever drive a standard one! Absolutely gutless they are. It really is painful to drive my Red one when the occasion calls. A Stage 1 is really how it should’ve left the factor, as that makes such a difference. I’m honestly thinking about seeing Niki at R-Tech to get a map done. 😂
