  1. RL and revo both have done extensive research and regardless of dyno applied or not the cars files will be sent back n forth to the RL & REVO software guys to tweak for your car and very often test out on the road which is better than dyno. Always nice to have a rolling road before and after tho. Tvs is also a really nice tune especially for the dsg
  2. Tvs engineering are wizards with the dag boxes mate. I’ve got their stge2+ map on my superb 272 and it is soooo smooth and they map things in like life extender features. More torque handling and the shifting is silky smooth
  3. 1l tsi will be a dry 7 speed.
  4. Yep loads of us mate. I’ve moved onto a superb sport line 272 now and the h&r are on that now because I was so impressed with them on the octy
  5. Yep mine did this with the bcm. Heated seats stopped working too. Module is 500 quid and the. Fitting and coding
  6. Try Zimmerman from AUTODOC and I would think yours being 2013 would be 340mm front and 272 rears. front pads will be the bigger of the two listed. If you scroll thro the pics and specs for the pads on AUTODOC it’ll give you the sizes too. must admit although people wings about brembo stuff I’ve never had a bad experience with their stuff and then I tried zimmerman because they have some nice performance stuff and I feel they are even better
  7. Tps are doing the clubsport discs for about 380 a pair if you want them. Also clp tuning and awesome gti I think are around the same money.. the Zimmerman formula z are whet I have from AUTODOC and they need replacing after 50k miles (they are good) I’m pretty sure zimmerman make them for vw however the prices on them at the minute are crazy
  8. Different car but I do 50k in 2 years
  9. Hi mate. what were the symptoms of this going. There are a couple vids on you tube about replacing I saw a while ago. Think the whole prop needs to come off !!
  10. Great disc mate. I’ve just ordered some more from there and I’ve used the brembo xtra pads
  11. Have a look on AUTODOC. Zimmerman do a sport drilled they are brilliant discs. Couple that with brembo xtra pads and it’s a good strong set up for road use
  12. I use octavia pictoris alloys on my superb with the correct size tyres but because the offset is different I use a 12mm spacer. Tyres are nexen winguard sport 2
  13. Or koni special actives. They are bloody good. Had them on octy, deisel 4x4 suoerb and now my 272
  14. Can you see the clock ok and have you got heated seats. ?? If heated seats are not working either I’m afraid the bcm may have shot. Happened to me and a couple others on the suoerb forum. Same bcm (body control module) also know. As comfort control module. might be something simple tho too
  15. I’m with tvs remap. Tcu stage2+ and ecu stage 2 they call it. Minor mods like intake, that’s at 360 and 530nm. Very happy with both
  16. Just spend the money and get a tvs engineering stage 2+ dsg map. It has a lot more features than the generic maps including life extender. True manual mode, 1st gear reactivation and increased torque limits.. it is so much different than standard. Had mine done on the 272 before engine map and it was a different car. Then had their engine software later. HUGE difference
  17. I had an octy Vrs 2wd manual then went for a 4x4 superb estate 190 with a remap. 235bhp and 540nm. When I first brought it before it was mapped there was an issue with the haldex. Plates had turned to blamange so gad them replaced under warantee. Then had it mapped and did 110k trouble free miles but must have oil changed and pump out every 30k. Be about 100 quid. I used to do mine myself every 20k and was always mucky. I now have a 272 with a remap and will do the same. Just needs a bit of tinkering.. will also use more fuel due to extra weight but not a huge difference. In the wet and winter it’s fantastic and in the snow it’s epic
  18. Don’t forget once it’s suspension done you have to have it mapped. then enjoy 360-bhp and 520nm of torque. 60-100mph in less than 10secs 😱😂
  19. No just standard mate. But they have to be drilled out to fit as the standard damper is less diameter then the koni. Front and back !!
  20. H&R springs, koni special actives
  21. Clp tuning did the tune on my 272 but it is a tvs engineering map. Dsg and engine.. hp wise they said an extra 10-15 was possible but temps were getting a bit high. It a Gpf car also so I think that was a good result. Torque figure is more important for me. Have a look on the tvs engineering website and they do some nice work with superbs. Their stage 2+ dsg map for the dq381 is beautiful. And can’t complain about fuel economy either. This was on a 30 mile commute in mixed traffic Racingline map for the previous diesel.
  22. 190 map will be a big step up from the 150 so I reckon you’d be happy enough with that.. for now lol… when I traded my mapped 190 for the 272 I thought I’d made a mistake as they are quite lazy up to 4k revs where as the diesel has everything up to that.. after the map tho the 272 has the same torque as my mapped diesel did. Diesel and petrol maps attached. get the box done too as you can see on both graphs the wiggly line which is the box limiting the torque
  23. You’ll get up to 190 mate no problem.. it’s the torque up that you’ll notice more.. the 190 standard does have bigger turbo and injectors I think so I ended up with 235 bhp and 540bm from the 190. That’s gone now and I have the 272 with a map. That’s somewhat a different beast lol
  24. Both of mine. lowered on H&R with koni special actives and 12mm all round H&R spacers. White one diesel then. Traded for red 272
