Yes!!!

System deaeration
If you had unvented air in system you would be having heater problems, possible overheating, fault codes on electric pumps running dry etc. Etc. If you have no problems, I'd say you r all good.

Wiper blade not touching the glass
Are they definitely genuine bosch aerotwins you tried. I've never noticed that issue. There is no metal spring or spline AFAIK. The wiper mounts onto the end of the arm and tge blade itself should be flexible enough to flex against the screen. Have you tried maybe heating the blades up by soaking in warm or slightly hot water b4 fitting. Seems strange this would only affect you.

Dash lights on after repair
You could try and disconnect battery again. Leave for 10 minutes, try again to see if they clear after driving short distance. Other than that a scan required.

Dash lights on after repair
Lots of dash lights. Like when you disconnect battery. But they normally clear when you drive above a certain low speed like 15mph. Why didn't the garage test on completing work. It's a golden rule!!

H7 Halogen bulbs last no time at all
Yeah thanks. The ones I have been fitting, philips white vision ultra, were standard output 55w - just halogen with gas to make them whiter. But yes, now ordered some long life standard yellow halogens from Osram advertised for 4 year life.. .So we will see. I'll try to resurrect this post when I find out how long they last!! Thanks

H7 Halogen bulbs last no time at all
Thank you, yes also found some long life osram and long life philips after your post suggesting. May try a set of one of them. It they last 3 or 4 times longer and I got say 1.5yrs to 2 yrs I think I'd be happy. 6 months replacement at £25 a pair so 50 a year seems silly just for cornering lamps!! Tks

H7 Halogen bulbs last no time at all
Thanks for replies both. - I guess it comes down to how much you turn the steering wheel!! 🙃 !!! Edit. Maybe I will try a different brand this time. Just to be sure it is not related or I'm dealing with counterfeits or so something supply related.

H7 Halogen bulbs last no time at all
Yeah. I can notice them come on sometimes. Certainly in drive even stationary turning wheel one way, one side comes on. So you think any h7 halogen will die inside a year? Tks for reply.

H7 Halogen bulbs last no time at all
Don't know 100% if Oct Mk3 is the same with same option set, but on my car with BiXennon lamps standard, the dynamic cornering light is a H7 Halogen. Sounds crazy to me but I have replaced 2 x sets of Philips White Vision Ultra in 16 Months. One set lasted May to March, the next set, March to November. We don't even do a lot of night time driving so the recent March to November stint, they've only just started to be used again. Do others find the philips white vision H7 just do not last (either in this application or normal dipped beam)? I can't imagine I am getting much more than 200 hours life!

Gear lever bellcrank worn
Inevitably, a part like that or those 2 will be genuine only supply likely. So your two options are second hand, dismantling market (may also be worn) or new via Skoda / Vag network. A quick google indicated one of the parts is no longer available but may be superseded. Would need the full car detail, year, engine code to look at parts diagram and get a better idea. Or call your local skoda dealer parts department, they will tell you a price to order and you either take it or leave it.... No harm done. If you want to browse some parts diagrams from a source which will let your order LLLParts is not bad. Ordered a few things off them and can be a bit cheaper than dealer. Have to wait a little while for the order, so if it is not urgent.... And I find occasionally they don't offer order for parts that are complete i.e. their listings not entirely complete.... but pretty good source..

Low battery warning Key fob
Fault codes are sotred for low battery per remote. But they usually report in the MFD as well. After you replace batteries it can take a day or two for it to stop reporting low battery and clearing the fault codes helps get rid of the historics.... E.g VCDS fault scan when I bought my car.. 204290 - Remote key 1 B1479 18 [009] - Current Too Low Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 4 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 36 Mileage: 90237 km Date: 2021.04.24 Time: 19:31:07 204546 - Remote key 2 B147A 18 [009] - Current Too Low Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 4 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 0 Mileage: 90237 km Date: 2021.04.30 Time: 13:56:05

90 degree - elbow connector for windshield hose
Can you not cut the connector and get a generic barbed connector. You need the inside pipe diameter and may need to secure the connector with cable ties or similar to prevent pressure blowing it off.

Do I need another DSG service?
It does look like that. But if they charged 5l, £200 also seems very pricey just for fluid. Why not give the servicing garage a call, ask what fluid they use, I don't recognise tt312...

Turbo leaking oil at 28000 miles!!
Rebuild or exchange may also be a much cheaper option than a new VW OEM entire unit. I had one person who VW wanted to replace the whole turbo, at a cost of £1,500 because the VW catalogue didn't show a part for the v band clip!!!!! That member was pretty happy with my finding him a suitable part supplier..... Surprised your mechanic didn't suggest a resolution path. Or is that what they've suggested. Or is the turbo cracked or something? Still, you could probably by a recon unit.

Turbo leaking oil at 28000 miles!!
I'm just giving you options under the law*. Much more certain than a skoda goodwill claim at 5 years! So where about on the turbo is it dropping from. A oil feed or return pipe? Why is it not repairable? *= consumer protection laws, designed to protect purchasers from faulty goods that are not durable enough, which is thrust of your arguments.

Turbo leaking oil at 28000 miles!!
You have up to 6 years statutory consumer protection with the selling dealer. Not skoda UK. It Is up to you to prove the fault was present when you purchased I.e design or mfr or assembly fault. The selling dealer will probably resist. Your only recourse on stat protection then would be to take to small claims court and you will probably need an expert report st very least some sort of well reasoned report from your mechanics. You are not guaranteed to win. But usually a retailer will try to avoid going to court if they think you have a reasonable case. Is it burning oil or dropping on ground?

Maintenance list to keep car long time
Manual transmission oil often spoke of to replace suggested by user experience 80 to 100k miles.

Few issues for MOT 2006 2.0 FSI Vrs
They will be pricey genuine items in exhaust. Sometimes LLLp parts saves a bit on genuine vw parts. That code sounds like the turbo actuator is dead, rod snapped etc. Check for operation. Its on the turbo accessible with difficulty from under car.

Engine 1.8l TSI CDAA won't start after spark plug change
This indicates a problem with the variable camshaft adjustment. Also referred to as the variator. Other mfrs call it vvt. Most likely the solenoid is faulty. You can monitor the adjustment in vcds. Yours will likely not be responding to rpm chanfes very well.

Octavia VRS touchscreen unresponsive except for the power button
Ea888 gen 3 in vrs mk3 tsi is chain.
-
Octavia VRS touchscreen unresponsive except for the power button
Well. Some progress on ent unit!! 5 years sounds about right for pads and discs but inspect for yourself. Timing chain at 5 years? Is yours a tsi, if so there is no recommended mileage, it is a lifetime part in vw eyes. But many say a new chain and tensioner is worthwhile investment if running to car past 100k miles... Oh and the dealer price for front pads and discs is probably £350 or £400. Suspect you could do at an independent with aftermarket oem quality half that...

What does this mean?
Yeah. Like something in the file library is missing or corrupted. When did it happen. Did it co-incide with anything else happening or being done. Dealer level access, flash etc maybe required to resolve If someone on here can support I guess you could try a refresh but not if you are under some form of guarantee..
