  1. Only if on the front! https://movingon.blog.gov.uk/2020/12/09/ban-on-tyres-over-10-years-old-for-heavy-vehicles-and-some-minibuses/#:~:text=From 1 February 2021 Construction, annual test and a prohibition. Thanks, AG Falco
  2. No. You can only connect one devise at a time. Thanks, AG Falco
  3. If I am going away to a different country I will download the map of where I am going before. I have then used my phone with local maps in hire cars without needing a data connection / costs. Don't forget that if you download the map just before you go it will also be ( almost ) up to date. I used to use a tablet with a 9 inch screen as well, before I had a car with Android Auto. This is all free. no sim card needed, no mobile data needed. Thanks, AG Falco
  4. Have you an old phone you can leave in the car just as the satnav. The directions come through the car speakers. It works well for me, and you can update the maps easily. Thanks, AG Falco
  5. Bolero system can have Android Auto where you can get satnav from your phone on the infotainment screen. Thanks, AG Falco
  6. Same on my Fabia III. Tyre in the boot is the same size as the ones on the car but just on a steel not an alloy. I think the stickers are put on the spare wheel by default when the car can come with a different size tyre on the car. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. What size tyre is on the rest of the wheels? It looks like you have a 205 45 16 tyre on a steel wheel as your spare. Is this the same size as the rest of your tyres? If it is then it's the same pressure as the rest. Tyre was made in late 2007. Thanks, AG Falco
  8. That is on the old type of locking wheel bolts. Some of these also have a hole in the centre of the key. The newer type are described as a flower pattern type, something like this:- Thanks, AG Falco
  9. Don't get alloy wheels stolen very often any more. I have removed them from both of my Skoda's and just fitted normal wheel bolts and normal caps. Lockers are made by Mcgard:- https://mcgard.com/automotive/wheel-locks/ Thanks, AG Falco
  10. Is this the before adjustment sheet or the after adjustment sheet? If it is the after sheet it looks like you have a total toe of 1 degrees and 20 minutes positive. There are 60 minutes in 1 degree so 20 minutes is 1/3 of a degree. The Fabia III should be 0 degrees and 10 minutes positive but plus or minus 10 minutes. So yours is over 1 degree out. Thanks. AG Falco

There are 60 minutes in 1 degree so 20 minutes is 1/3 of a degree. The Fabia III should be 0 degrees and 10 minutes positive but plus or minus 10 minutes. So yours is just on the limit. Thanks AG Falco.
  12. You can also download maps off line with android auto and then you don't need any data connection. Thanks AG Falco
  13. Engines run cooler in the colder weather. I have also noticed this by looking at the engine oil temperature. In the summer it went above 100 C but in the winter it would only reach the low 80's C. I now block off part of the front grill in the winter months. The engine now warms quicker and will get to the low 90's C. I do this to all three car's I run. Thanks, AG Falco
  14. Or just open the bonnet, close and lock the car, then disconnect the battery. Thanks, AG Falco
  15. Fabia III is 0 degrees 10 Minutes total positive, if that helps. Thanks, AG Falco
  16. I think it needs to be a Skoda SD card to work. Thanks, AG Falco
  17. What car are you talking about? ( The Volvo? ) A Fabia III with the right equipment will display the map on the infotainment system and the sound from the cars speakers. Thanks, AG Falco
  18. What settings are they showing in Degrees and Minutes on the sheet? Thanks, AG Falco
  19. AGFalco replied to TQVRS's topic in Tyres & Wheels
On one of my cars I swapped the tyres from a 155 80 13 tyre to a 175 70 13 tyre on the same 5J wide rim. The tread width on the 155 tyre was about 105 mm. The tread width on the 175 tyre was about 135 mm. So a 20 mm wider tyre but with an increase of 30 mm in tread width. Thanks, AG Falco
  20. No. No rear wash or wipe required for an MOT. Something like this might work? :- https://www.amazon.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-WINDSCREEN-WASHER-SCREENWASH-CONNECTOR/dp/B07ZQNBV4L/ref=sr_1_6?crid=MB2PGQS0RM7O&keywords=car+washer+pipe+connector&qid=1645126602&sprefix=car+washer+pipe+%2Caps%2C70&sr=8-6 Thanks, AG Falco
  21. Who would have both a Citigo and a Fabia III. 👈 Thanks, AG Falco
  22. No. No rear wash or wipe required for an MOT. Thanks, AG Falco
  23. Would a layer of Rain-x help? Thanks, AG Falco
  24. Don't assume a tyre called 'All Season' has the 3PMSF marking. 'Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season' and 'Pirelli Cinturato All Season' tyres are available both with the three peak mountain snowflake symbol and without in some sizes. Pirelli use the acronym SF ( snowflake ) for the ones with, so you can tell the difference. https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-gb/car/catalogue/season/all-season Tyres are too complicated these days if you ask me. Thanks, AG Falco
