Octavia MK1 radio wiring
Most likely you need to swap the ignition and non-ignition wires to the radio, usually these are red and yellow.

Golf GTI exhaust
I agree, I had a non-res Milltek on a previous car and the drone was so bad I had to add the resonator after a couple of months.

Steering Wheel Lock Recommendation
Over several years I've asked Tracker to provide any data that proves the recovery rate with a Tracker is better (to justify the cost and risk of fitting one - I had one fitted to an Audi S3 but the install was botched leading to water coming into the drivers footwell), they have always failed to do so - simply re-quoting their marketing waffle.

Revert to default coding ACC & Driver Assist
That's just a scan, not a log of the changes you have made. Looking at that the problem is Trouble Code C110B54 - Adaptive cruise control sensor No basic setting. Somehow you've deleted the basic settings of the front radar. I think that means it needs recalibrating?

Revert to default coding ACC & Driver Assist
Does OBD11 save the changes you make (like VCDS does) into log files?

In the absence of any replies here I've gone with a personal recommendation of an independent in Bradford-on-Avon, VW Audi Cars and having used them twice now am happy to recommend them. https://boavwaudicars.co.uk/

Connecting an old Hitachi VCR to a Sony Bravia TV
@VWD I was pointing out that tuning a VCR to find TV stations isn't an option, as you now say yourself, as VCRs don't have digital tuners so using the VCR to select channel isn't going to work - you would need to select channel using the additional Freeview box.

Connecting an old Hitachi VCR to a Sony Bravia TV
Are there any VCRs that can decode digital Freeview transmissions not just old-style analogue (now turned off) transmissions?

Long motorway journey - losing coolant, no cabin heat, rad fans on, temp guage low!?
I had that on a car over 40 years ago, the problem was that no coolant was reaching the temp sensors because of no water flow - if there's no flow then it really makes little difference where the temp sensor is!

Front passenger door lock problem
Sounds like the linkage between the exterior handle and the actual lock has become disconnected.

Update maps
I copy the old files onto a NAS drive, then quick format as it's quicker than deleting the old files.

Front passenger door lock problem
You say the passenger door will not unlock, will it open when you pull on the external handle when you have unlocked all doors? I'm trying to work out if it's an unlocking or opening problem so we can offer the appropriate advice.

Octavia iV High Speed Handling
So you have newer shocks on the left than the right? Meaning the right will likely be softer as the shocks are older even if they fitted the same make & type of shocks on the left (I presume you've checked all 4 shocks are the same make and type?). Worth doing a visual inspection of all 4 shocks I reckon.

TICO
What exactly do you mean by total mileage? Miles covered since new? Miles supposedly possible with a full fuel tank and a fully charged battery? Miles supposedly possible on battery only? Something else?

the truth about electric cars
OK that works in towns where there is credible public transport, but in rural areas it's a mindset that strengthens the view of country folk that 'townies' don't understand the realities of rural life. But people are not 'dragging their feet' because of inertia, it's because even the cost to change with PCP/PCH is unaffordable for people having to use food banks or having their rent or mortgage massively increased. I'm trying to get you to understand that many (most?) peoples finances are under such pressure that their desire to do the right thing for the climate is not something their finances allow - unless and until grants are introduced at a much greater level. Wouldn't that be the right thing for Government to do if they are serious about climate change? Don't just use the 'stick' approach of a ban, but the 'carrot' approach of grants?

the truth about electric cars
Have you considered that there are many people, especially in rural areas, where powered personal transport (i.e. not pedal cycles) is the only option as either they have health issues (injury, old age, etc.) or public transport is either very limited or non-existent? So it then comes down to affordability - not just the cost of running (which if using home charging can be beneficial) but the cost to change from ICE to EV being beyond their financial means especially in the current economic situation with rents and mortgages being much more expensive and for MOST people their incomes not increasing at the same rate. Just because YOU have the financial means to make the changes to be more environmentally friendly does not mean that applies to everyone, if the changes are essential NOW then more and targeted support needs to be offered.

the truth about electric cars
I'm sure you know the answer to that if you think about it, companies are in business to make profits and since only companies (not charities or governments) are oil explorers then profits are an integral part of their business model.
-
the truth about electric cars
So why is the protest group called "Just Stop Oil"?, and why is new exploration treated as a pariah? - existing oil fields WILL become uneconomic so replacement will be needed even if we no longer burn oil or gas.
-
the truth about electric cars
Nobody can say 'forever' in truth since we do not know what the ingenuity of mankind can produce in future. But having said that... EVs have motor and wheel bearings, moving parts in their steering systems, hinges on their doors, etc.? Everywhere that there are parts moving relative to each other some lubrication is required. Even 'synthetic' oils and greases are actually made by cracking crude oil and rebuilding them into a better lubricant. There do not exist non-oil based alternatives for ALL these lubrication needs so SOME oil will still be required, even when there are no ICE vehicles left running.

DAB reception issues
Radio propagation is massively affected by solar activity as well as atmospheric conditions, so radio reception in the last few days (especially DAB and digital TV which are 'all or nothing' systems) has been unpredictable.

... and rationalisation of public charger networks (so you don't need multiple cards/apps), as well as better maintenance of public chargers - see regular posts by @Ootohere of chargers not working or hogged by long-term parkers.
