  1. That's not correct, 2013 to early 2015 cars had a MIB1 system not a MIB2. The change to MIB2 happened around Q2 2015. MIB1 maps stopped being issued in 2020/21 (5 years after the last production date). MIB2 maps are still being issued (but later than usual) - I've just updated to the 2024 maps.
  2. Seems to me that what @martwerk needs to know is the maximum nose weight not the maximum towing weight since he wants to fit a towbar mounted bike rack not tow anything.
  3. Would make more sense for you to post in the correct Superb forum then 👍
  4. Firmware update can use any SD card, even on an Amundsen. You say you updated the maps OK, do you have to leave the SD card in the slot in the glovebox for navigation to work? If not them I'm puzzled as the part number you've posted appears to be for an Amundsen but if navigation works without the SD card in place then that suggests it's a Columbus???
  5. ... which, apart from purchase price, is one of the main factors why in March 2024 BEV sales made up a smaller percentage of overall car sales. I know it doesn't seem to affect some (many?) on here but for a significant number of the UK population there is a cost of living problem (call it a crisis if you must) and unless and until BEV prices to buy/lease AND RUN drop considerably the chance of the car makers meeting the market percentage targets is getting smaller all the time.
  6. That's a MIB2 Amundsen, good luck getting the dealer to supply the correct SD card - the dealer in Southampton didn't have a clue so I bought genuine Skoda one (that's essential as a generic SD card won't work) on eBay for a fraction of the official price.
  7. I'd suggest taking it to a more reputable tyre place than ATS, somewhere with a proper laser 4 wheel alignment tester and technicians properly trained how to use it. Too far for you but when I lived in Hampshire I would always go to Micheldever Tyres, but now they're part of Protyre I'm not so sure (had a bad experience with Protyre in Westbury).
  8. 888 for my 2016 Octavia L&K 1.8TSI DSG hatch.
  9. Sounds like your 12V battery is too low to start the car, so I suggest you connect a charger to the 12V battery.
  10. Regardless whether it's a taxi adult passengers are still required by law to wear a seat belt.
  11. The key phrase is post-Brexit, which obviously doesn't affect Australia. Kopacek have refused to ship a couple of items to me in the UK post-Brexit that they shipped to me before Brexit for a previous Octavia.
  12. @ReSeTe the language of this Forum is English, please always post in English.
  13. Any 12V systems, like the radio, run off the 12V battery not the HV traction battery.
  14. Have the garage done a load test on the battery? - eliminate the simple before searching for the complex (and expensive).
  15. ... and remind you to post in English.
  16. Unfortunately post-Brexit Kopacek won't ship large item (anything bigger than Accepted by Royal Mail) so I have doubts they will accept an order for a spoiler from @Skodatavia who is based in Co. Down.
  17. It would perform like the place name used by Dylan Thomas , Llareggub (read that place name backwards).
  18. Probably not - single colour LEDS only have 2 wires but RGB (multicolour) LEDs usually have four wires (common, R, G & B ) so it seems unlikely that VAG would include extra driver circuitry that will never be used in most vehicles. Plus the drive voltages for different colour LEDs are not the same (due to the different bandgap to produce the different colour) so there's an added complication there.
  19. Since ACC relies on the forward facing radar it would need to see through the car to work in reverse...
  20. That will be an Octavia II not an Octavia III.
  21. If the open circuit voltage is good but the battery has high internal resistance then the voltage will drop when cranking - that's my thoughts? I'd suggest a load test on the battery as this will either prove or eliminate this as a possible cause.
  22. Low battery voltage caused by an engine restart, suggesting a battery with high internal resistance and in poor health?
  23. I've owned both a 2015 Octavia 3 Elegance and a 2016 Octavia 3 L&K and neither Elegance or L&K appeared on the V5. On the Octavia 3 it's easy to tell at a glance if it's an L&K from the Laurin & Klement badges on the front wings, not sure if that's also true on a Superb?
  24. The eBay adverts says it has AS maps so maybe it's the larger 32GB version not the smaller 16GB version - check with the seller (I bought a Skoda SD card off eBay that was advertised as 32GB but was actually 16GB so returned it to the seller for a refund).
