  1. Oh I do; buffering the living daylights out of my ear’oles above 40mph!
  2. God I hope not. They’re aren’t many items I can think of which do precisely the opposite of their design brief and function but this excels in both areas as they’re bloody noisy and useless at providing draft-free ventilation. I put them on and off they came 5 days later.
  3. Try resetting the windows. Ignition on and roll all the windows down with the four switches on the drivers armrest. Wait 5 seconds. Then wind them all up at once whilst continuing to hold the switches up. When they reach the fully closed position do not let go of the switches - hold them in the up position for at least 10:seconds. Re test your passenger window and hopefully this will have cured the memory issue.
  4. In my case it’s three years. And shove it and the spare in a faraday pouch and there’s no security issue at all..
  5. Nice spec, nice price and FSH. Buy it, you won’t regret it.
  6. Mines from an Indy (who were excellent BTW), which came to them a trade in to a Ford dealer against a brand new Mustang GT by the first owner Prykey, so I didn’t hesitate to purchase it for £20k and 19k miles in March 2020. John confirmed it only came with two keys, one chrome and one non.
  7. Go to a dealer or specialist.
  8. Well that’s a bit laid-back in terms of factuality, given 90% of dealer management lie with impunity and encourage staff to do the same. They have as much integrity as that blond entitled buffoon in No. 10.
  9. I’ve got KESSY and I have two, and only two were supplied at point of handover, so obviously a sales balls-up. 🙄
  10. Master cylinder?
  11. And today it finally began working again! Yippeee! Thanks everyone once again for your experiences. It put my mind at rest that I was not going nuts or that the MIB was! 👍🏻
  12. Is that recoded from close by the brake pedal?
  13. This is nothing to do with the DSG box, it’s the drive-by-wire throttle pedal. Get a pedal box and it disappears, even in bypass mode. Given the millions of vehicles with DSG boxes globally, the numbers of failures are minuscule, albeit it’s bloody annoying if it happens to you. Unless you’re going to buy a RX Lexus or above, you’re buying a badge engineered Toyota and yes, perhaps you will find them marginally quieter than the Superb diesel, but that won’t be a surprise given they do not make s diesel. You’ll be buying the 10 year warranty over that 10 year service period, via in an uplift in the service costs and it’ll be underwritten by an insurer, but it’ll be transparent to the owner. I had the misfortune to have a CT200h for a while. An underpowered, poorly built car and noisy with it.
  14. My car was only supplied with two keys. 🙄
  15. Three KESSY keys? Weird. My 2016 came with two and they both work fine. I tried the manual door opening when I first got the car and the drivers door opened very easily so perhaps they are not the correct key blades for the car.
  16. Fair enough. Then you should lock the very item which is required to start your car inside it then. Oh, wait a minute…. 🙄
  17. Interesting. I’m out at 6am, I’ll see if it’s back on. I’m amazed there isn’t anything about this elsewhere.
  18. Thanks everyone for the confirmations. I really like Waze but it’s rubbish on the MIB1 Columbus, inasmuch as it doesn’t allow a 3D view; it’s like going back to the double DIN 4:3 in the Superb MKI!
  19. I’d just like to know if others are not receiving TMC notifications. If not, it rules out a hardware problem and if not, well, it will be.
  20. I posted a thread on this too, which langers2k kindly looped back your posts. I’ve never had an issue with TMC since 2012, when it was available on the Columbus in the MKII; its always been stable and available. Dynamic routing is ticked so it’s definitely not that.
  21. Is the old one in the top pic?
