  1. Someone on here found a supplier in Germany selling new (possibly) screens. I can't recall who though.
  2. Yes, I have a few of the new 32Gb Skoda cards available for the Amundsen MIB units. Also some of the older 16Gb cards.
  3. I wouldn't think that would help anything. Best not in my opinion. Sounds like a new screen would be in order.
  4. Have you tried cleaning the screen? Sounds like it thinks you're pressing the screen constantly. Note, use something designed to clean glasses or monitors, not any of the numerous car cockpit cleaning crap which will cause all sorts of sticky residue issues.
  5. I'd say this is the problem right here,...
  6. I know it's probably no consolation, but my mate has an iPhone and a Landrover Discovery 5. On occasion (generally onceva day at least) his refuses to work. The only answer is disconnect the phone, lock the vehicle, leave it for half an hour, then it'll work again. Whether it's an iPhone issue or Landrover we're not sure.
  7. Well, convinced or not, can we assume that you've tried his suggestion?
  8. If your new GPS antennas have SMB connectors then these are effectively just the same as the Fakra connectors. The Fakra blocks are simply plastic shrouds colour coded and fitment tabbed to ensure correct connection. You can push a SMB connector into the Fakra socket on the rear of the Columbus, it just won't lock in.
  9. Or do it yourself. It's a simple enough job (albeit a bit messy) and can be done on a set of ramps with basic Torx/Allen keys and spanner set. Tricky dit is getting the new oil in I guess, but a length of clear hose and a good set of lungs will suffice if you can't get a pump to fit the Haldex fluid bottle.
  10. Swap the wheels front to rear, see if that cures it.
  11. I'm not too well up on Bluetooth kits, but certainly swapping out the Bluetooth module from under the seat is pretty straight forward. However, for Bluetooth music streaming you might find that the wiring harness only provides single channel audio (moon to the drivers side) so might need another wire from the Bolero to the new module. Nothing lost by just plugging one in and trying.
  12. I'd already thought of that, but the person this is for may not understand how to winzip etc. and it adds extra unneccessary complication. Sandisk USB drive ordered at the cost of £4.
  13. Well, it doesn't work on an SSD drive, and it doesn't work on an SD card (both Sandisk) so looks like I need a Sandisk USB drive. I'm sure I have one somewhere...
  14. I'll look into that, cheers. If I had Windows 10 Pro then BitLocker would be ideal, but it's an expensive upgrade to get that.
  15. Is that a usb stick or SD card?
  16. As per title, I'm looking to secure some files on a USB stick, so need a free method of password protecting said drive. Any recommendations? Cheers.
  17. The DPF light indicates a problem. It's not an indication of a regen happening, but an indication that you need to either force a regen, drive at higher revs for a period to burn off soot accumulation, or the DPF is seriously choked and needs replacement. In normal use you'd never see the DPF light except for the test procedure on start up.
  18. I had this problem a few years ago. Managed to find an adapter fly lead on eBay to save cutting & splicing.
  19. You haven't said what age your car is, or what generation of Haldex you have. That might be prudent to determine before lashing out on a new gen4 pump & filter only to find out you have a gen5.
  20. You have a marked advantage over us. You at least know what car you drive...
  21. Autoglass replaced my Yeti windscreen. Took them three attempts to get the job finished. Broke trim getting it off, only admitted when I pointed it out, then agreed to get replacement. Second visit, dropped the new trim out of the box and broke that too. Fitted it anyway. Third visit finally fitted new trim and scratched the new windscreen in the process. Then I got them to repair the windscreen on the Tiguan.... Never again. Break the bloody thing and get a new one, it's much less damage to the surrounding paintwork...

  23. I don't suppose you've had a scan done with VCDS?
  24. A Parrot CK3100? Bloody hell, that's really old. I had one briefly years ago, it was so hard to use and distracting I threw it in the bin.
