  1. It’s a widely held view / myth - but I’ve yet to see any proof / conformation of this ‘uprated’ cooling system…………..I’d very much like it to be true but for the nominal amount of money charged I doubt it amounts to much…………Skoda aren’t renowned for being magnanimous.
  2. After more ‘testing’ I’ve come to the conclusion that coasting is not a feature on my late ‘21 build 2.0tsi DSG.
  3. Thanks ‘aerofurb’, now I know what it is a Google search explains all - well, sort of all…..!
  4. Just getting to grips with the (seemingly) overly complicated virtual cockpit controls / settings. Now then, this may be obvious to some, but what's this car with green bars thing all about?
  5. Not good for you but it does indicate that the 280 will still be in production 2023............
  6. I’ve got that ‘kw’ bar thingy in my 280 too………seems to be an indicator as to how much power is being produced.
  7. Had the same problem in our Karoq - clicking as the relay activated and the noise when the wiper motor was running - quite the loudest I've ever heard in a car!
  8. I started to de-badge my 4x4 but the wife felt takin' the S K O D A off was a just too much.............so it stayed........and she was right, it needs something there.
  9. Was it 'Sarah' you were dealing with matey, I found her most pleasant and helpful unlike the guy that took my order?
  10. It is a late 21 build DSG - having tried out the 'eco' mode I didn't detect any disengaging of the drive when going downhill. I've been into the Drive Mode options and can't find any mention of 'coasting'..............handbook is useless, just says refer to Digital Version - the one built into the info centre doesn't appear to have a search function..........and the 'online' one doesn't mention coasting!
  11. Thanks Kenny, but I still need to know if it's switchable in some way? My 2.0 TSI doesn't seem to have (eco) the coast facility......
  12. I've done a search but can's see / find and answer: do the 4x4's have a coast function and where do you activate / disable it?
  13. I’ve got a late 2021 Superb and one registration on my VCDS - I know things have changed in the later cars and you can’t tamper as much but does that include minor things like rear daytime lights and alarm chirp? In other words is it worth spending my last VCDS credit on a 2021 Superb?
  14. Ah, interesting, thanks for that Warrior193.
  15. Superb Estate: Strange cut-outs in load area - anyone know what purpose they serve?
  16. 71 plate, delivered 2 weeks into March? How come, what's the back story there?
  17. Got my 280 L&K estate last week, ordered end of May - I’ve only been able to look at it so far and can’t drive it for another 3 weeks - had a minor stroke / hospital admission two days before delivery.
  18. Did you not get a 'hard copy' with the car? It's not as comprehensive as previous Skoda manuals inasmuch as it uses a lot of 'QR' code boxes but it covers all the necessary stuff.
  19. Despite the manual saying you can close it on the remote, I can't get it to respond.
  20. I work around the problem by just touching the accelerator momentarily………..
  21. I think you just touch the screen and it goes away / back to where you were.............
  22. Yep, they actually rolled over without any further contact. I suspect they were testing the waters so to speak. They did tell me yesterday the vehicle was awaiting a transporter which could be 1 - 2 weeks, so we are (possibly) into the middle of February anyway, whichever way it goes.
  23. Possibly came over on the same boat as my L&K - ordered 24th May - built week 29 - been awaiting parts for a few months - arrived UK earlier this week - dealer will have it by the end of next week and I'll have it 1st March.
