Can you code off headlight washers?
Wow....how many times do u spray ur windscreen!?!?! The headlights only get sprayed the 1st and 5th sprays, and only if the low beams r on.

VCDS options on Superb III
u can not "self-calibrate" ACC. its a complex, time consuming process, that requires specialist equipment.

Superb MK3 Headlight Distance
Given that turning the adjusters is making no difference, it sounds like ur car has a fault somewhere - either with a levelling sensor, or the AFS module. Has it been scanned for errors?

The Superb III Picture thread
@Rantzzz- that has come out very nicely on urs 👍 u have a darker color compared to mine, so it has a nice contrast, whereas mine is subtle against the grey. 🙂 no no, don't use any additional glue, at least I didn't have to. wat I did prior to fitting it was, after measuring & cutting each piece, I then laid it out flat, overnight, on a table's edge, with masking tape to hold it down. this helped with removing the bends/tension in the chrome edge.span widget

Trip to france
Given u have Bi-xenons and a Columbus Navigation unit - u don't need to do anything - the car will automatically switch the headlight beam pattern, based on ur GPS location, once u've reached France.
-
Blind Spot
When u start the car, they should briefly light up, as part of the ignition sequence. .... assuming they r installed. If they r there, then u can switch them on via the steering wheel or infotainment, under Driver Assistance settings.

Superb Mk3 2.0 TSI 220hp tuning
Basically. Official time is 7.0 secs for the 220. I wasn't expecting the 0-100 time to improve given the crazy wheel spin even before getting the tune. It's the power increase, once moving, that I was after - which is evident in the massive improvement in 4th gear test times.

Superb Mk3 2.0 TSI 220hp tuning
I've got an APR Stg 1 ECU tune on my 220. I've only timed it once, using Torque Pro - it did 6.7 secs to the 100. Too much wheel spin being a FWD. The 4th gear 80-120 km/h test improved from 5.8 secs to 3.4 secs. This was timed by APR technician dude, his professional time recording gizmo thingy.

Poor headlight range MK3 Superb
Either ur doing something wrong, or there is something mechanically wrong with ur headlights. When parked 7m or so from a wall, the changes r obvious, even with small quarter turns with the Allen key. Make sure ur not adjusting the horizontal (side to side) adjusters.

Was there a (mini) facelift this year?
-
Was there a (mini) facelift this year?
indeed - same same. its also found in the Scala. the newer MY20 and MY21 models also feature the MIB3 units, potentially, depending on market/spec.
-
Was there a (mini) facelift this year?
Yes there was a facelift (mk3.5) Superb released. Exterior changes to the front (bumper & headlights) and rear (taillights). Interior changes included new bits n bobs here n there, like new steering wheel, USB-C and MIB3.

Upgrading to 19's
Doesn't matter wat sized tyres - a puncture is a puncture. Low profile tyres r however more susceptible to rim damage. As I mentioned before....the 19" with the DCC suspension rides so much more comfortable and quieter than the 18" RS wheels I had on my mk2 MY11 Octavia RS. It rode on 225/40R18 tyres. The right tyre & wheel package, combined with the right suspension - makes a significant difference.

Enabling extended tail light/drl (combi)
End of the day - facelift or not, no matter the trim level, it is not something that can b simply enabled via VCDS or OBDEleven. It's different part number. It's a different cluster/unit. There r two versions - Basic and High. This applies to both Inner (on the boot) and Outer units. U need the High version to have the strip of the Inner light up.
-
Enabling extended tail light/drl (combi)
just b mindful the tail lights shown in both those pics above r the pre-facelift versions. a 2021 has different tail lights, like this.....

Build Data Codes?
hahaha....i was thinking the same too, but i'm sure @Watermead got his wires crossed thinking 206 and 280 - and ended up becoming 208!! 😂
-
Build Data Codes?
@Watermead- u will b able to see the PR code on the rotor hub itself, and the part number too. I have the 162 TSi, so its marked 1KU (rear) and 1ZA (front). Urs will b different given u have the 206 TSi. As @Winomentioned - u can go to Erwin Skoda n download a full build sheet of ur car specifically. I've done it myself. Paid for an hour subscription and got everything I need, including workshop manuals.

Upgrading to 19's
yes, u can upgrade the MIB2 unit (8" touchscreen with buttons) to the MIB2.5 unit (9.2" touchscreen without buttons). u'll need to upgrade the glovebox unit along with the screen unit. they're a pair, and go together hand-in-hand. i haven't done it myself, but plenty on this forum have, including some who also did the Virtual Cluster/dash too.

Superb MK3 Headlight Distance
it amazes me how these mobs get away with anything. Service Centre - no errors were found during the scan. everything is good. MOT centre - the lights turn on and shines in front of the car without dazzling oncoming drivers. everything is good. "there is nothing wrong with your car sir" esshhh!!! at least they didn't charge u for it.

Agreed - 100% OEM is always best, and is always my preference. Have a look at all the other retrofits I've carried out. I have a pre-facelift, so initially I planned to retrofit the chrome strips from facelift taillights. However it turns out u can't do just that, and will need new facelift taillights (both inner & outer), new boot strip, new RVC, new boot button and change the wiring harness. Total cost will b well in excess of $1000AUD!!! No thanks. My craving for the facelift chrome strips is not worth that much. I'm happy with my LED pre-facelift taillights with my improvised chrome strip that cost me $10. Even the Skoda Technicians here at the service centre were stumped at the finish and quality of it. They were initially confused given mine is a pre-facelift. It's not for everyone. It's an alternative option. While it's cheap, it certainly doesn't look it. ....and added bonus - the same chrome strip roll can b used on the lower door guards, just like factory. Again at a fraction of OEM price.
