60 plate car cutting out whilst driving
You will if they know what they're doing with DSG, most garages will just remove the gearbox and send it off to a specialist so you end up paying a premium.

Power steering problem
Audi A2 is 8Z and based on Polo 9N platform the same as the Fabia 1 or 2 so the pump is fine.

60 plate car cutting out whilst driving
DSG I assume, you need an independent specialist.

1.6 CR TDI Fabia crank but no start (no OBD codes)
The battery is no good, you need a new one.

Cobra exhaust for mk2 vrs
The standard 2 1/4" system is good to about 220 BHP so if you want more noise, just change the back box for a straight through type, no need to touch the rest of the system.

Power steering problem
Yes, the sensor and pump need to be the same brand, the rack is purely a mechanical device and doesn't care which system is fitted.

Cobra exhaust for mk2 vrs
Doesn't look like a performance solution to me, looks more like a convenient kludge to allow the use of cheaper 2 1/2" tubing, more show than go I suspect.

Another issue with my Climatronic.
Why pay more, it's a simple job largely automated by a machine.

CAVE/CAVD differences
Different turbo would be my guess.

Emergency key.
Mine isn't like this but you can still switch on the ignition with a dumb key, it just won't start.
-
Emergency key.
It's not, unlocking the car with the key should deactivate the alarm, bear in mind that turning the key twice in the lock direction locks the car but disables the alarm.
-
Electric windows problem.
I think rolling the dice for a tenner probably makes sense, certainly the switches on the Mark 1 Fabias failed with monotonous regularity after ten years or so.
-
Emergency key.
Then one of the switches in your door lock isn't working.
-
spare wheel
Typical overcautious belt 'n' braces engineers response from a company with a commercial interest.
-
Emergency key.
The alarm wouldn't go off, you just wouldn't be able to start it with a dumb key.
-
spare wheel
If it's not showing any signs of perishing then it'll be just fine.

Fabia vRS (ASZ): Advice on Turbo actuator/N75 adjustment sensitivity
Ok, but the new core came with new impeller and exducer so performance will not be the same as the OE core, the parts are simply not as well made.

Fabia vRS (ASZ): Advice on Synchro/Torsen angle
Unplug the MAF.
-
Fabia vRS (ASZ): Advice on Turbo actuator/N75 adjustment sensitivity
As long as you've dialled it back from overboost there's not much more you can do for now, a different core may well behave differently from the standard core since the impeller is different.

Fabia Mk1 vRS Foglight Protectors
I need to be careful because frothing ASD rally-jacketry... I enjoyed the silly funny film but some might've found it a bit flippant!

Fabia Mk1 vRS Foglight Protectors
...a big googly eye on each one, or have I misread the room?

Brake bleeders ??
There's no need to replace them but if you insist then just buy the longer one since it will work in either scenario.

New Cam Position sensor - worse than before
It's far more likely to be an engine loom failure somewhere than the ECU itself, an auto electrician could probably get to the bottom of if, the cost would be for their labour rather than new parts.

Advice on fault codes P0321 and P0697 please
http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/16705/P0321/000801 The other fault is indicative of a wiring fault in the engine bay somewhere, taken in conjunction with the above this is suggestive of a partial wiring loom failure to the crank position sensor and a simple bypass cable on the 5V line should effect a simple repair. Try a mobile auto electrician if this sounds like aggro to you.

Leaky power steering hose question
If you remove the existing pipe you can get it copied at a hydraulic hose merchant who will make it up while you wait, I imagine it would be half the price.
