Fabia 09 1.2 Petrol Sport Management light
Since there are no V engines fitted in the Fabia there is no bank 2, only bank 1 so it must be a software anomaly.

Front caliper slider pins
OMG, I nearly made him waste a FIVER on a part that wouldn't have fitted !!!!1111ONE!!! FFS.

Main dealer service
Inflated secondhand value is hardly relevant on a twenty year old mass produced economy hatchback!

How do I increase the idle speed on 2014 1.4 VRS ?
I suspect you're wetting the bed needlessly...

Front caliper slider pins
All the slider pins are the same size in my experience, those should certainly do the job nicely. Just to double check, you're aware that a special 7mm Allen key is needed? 6mm will just round it out.

Windscreen washer nozzles: adjustable or not?!

Changing drivers door (electrics)
It seems like a massive faff swapping the entire door just to change the window regulator! You can buy a new regulator cable very cheaply and it's about two hours work to change it out.

Windscreen washer nozzles: adjustable or not?!
It looks like the jet housing can be moved backwards and forwards to adjust the height it hits the screen.

Headlight help
Since you have OE headlight washers then they should be Xenon's, check for the presence of ballast packs behind the lights.

Mk 1 HTP 1.2 12V Rough idling
Yes, that's it, try pulling it apart in various places.

Mk 1 HTP 1.2 12V Rough idling
It's the battery tray drain in case the battery leaks... The big black plastic pipe near the brake fluid reservoir is the main pipe that leaks.

Headlights.
Yes, but luxury cars were fitted with them so a lot of the crass children who used to infest these fora were always wanting to convert to them, I think projector type headlamps were also the basis for systems that could look round corners as found on much more expensive cars. To be honest this kind of technology seems to me to be a solution looking for a problem, very bright headlights are frankly a bloody nuisance to motorists like me who rely more on their night vision and who rarely even bother using main beam because it's bleeding obvious where the road goes. I'm not sure why you would need to illuminate the road that far ahead, what are you expecting to see, a pair of eyes in a roadside hedgerow half a mile away? For why?

If your issue is age-related nyctalopia then there's not much to be done other than to wear high contrast polarised yellow driving glasses and make sure you don't have early stage cataracts forming. However you can still fit better bulbs, the consensus on here seems to be in favour of Philips Nightbreakers so maybe give them a go.

Look, the headlights on the Fabia are no better or worse than any other make of car with similar technology, I remember the sealed beam units that came as standard on Minis back when I started driving, like brown candles they were. Consequently modern headlamps are a revelation by comparison, I have completely standard 60/55W halogens in my 2.0 and I find them perfectly adequate for tearing about in the pitch black because other road users are also lit and can be seen from much further away than in daylight. Rally cars need crazy good lights because they drive ballistically fast, the rest of us simply don't need to turn night into day. My advice is to turn the dash lighting down to minimum and have no other bright light source in the car, that way your night vision will be optimally configured for the task at hand.

It's a terrible projector with a shutter, try eating more carrots, there's not much to be done with it.

Recent pics of your fabia for no reason, just stick em up!
P.S. Most of us Mark 1 owners think the Mark 2 is hideous by comparison although I think the estate version of the Mark 2 is actually better looking than the Mark 1 estate. It's the hatchback that's fugly.

Errrr, this topic is in the Fabia Mark 1 forum section so it very obviously is specified, there isn't a similar thread in the Mark 2 forum, perhaps you could start one?

In the Mark 1 section it kinda does...

Rear hatch struts - struggling with replacement
Just measure the originals, there should also be a load rating in Nm, then you can easily order the correct size and rating.

Fabia 2008 1.9 tdi sport rear back box
I find it hard to believe you need a new one since they're stainless and your car is a diesel so no acidic combustion products to eat it from the inside.

Walnut blasting mk1 vRS
Something involving a posh brass and some white powder?

Walnut blasting mk1 vRS
So you're going to strip the top end to polish it all? A complete waste of time and money on a diesel I'm afraid.
