Power Steering pipes
That's not a valid VIN for a mk1 Fabia. Look through the windscreen from outside just by passenger side wiper, it's visible there.

Radiator fan
Depends on refrigerant pressure when A/C is on. In cold ambient temps this will not necessarily approach the threshold for fan activity.
-
Radiator fan
Coolant temperature is usually sensed close to the radiator outlet in the context of fan activation. On cars with traditional radiator-mounted thermoswitches the first (low) speed operation tends to be at about 95/96C at that point. For the coolant temperature to be that high at the outlet, it will obviously need to be even hotter at the radiator inlet or engine head. Not sure if your car has this type of thermoswitch, or a sensor in an adjacent hose. Probably the latter.

Windscreen washer not working // with rear wiper
Generally it's a single pump that does front or rear washers depending on polarity of power to it.

Fabia Mk1 SDI non-turbo diesel (ASY) engine management light
Ours (1.2 petrol) is on 199k in a few miles, but the engine currently in it has done a lot fewer miles.

Belt changes on Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP 2009 Sports model and other questions
HTP has a timing chain and that's expensive to change. You'd want to be very sure it is causing a significant problem before spending several hundred on that. Auxiliary belt can be inspected fairly easily for obvious major degradation, but quite cheap and easy to change if it does look very rough. Photograph the belt path first though, easy to put new one on wrong if you haven't got a reference to look at.

Front Wipers / BCM
It's quite likely to be burned out relay contacts within the BCM, I think. It may be possible to replace this relay if you can get into the unit, identify the relay, buy a replacement, and have the necessary desoldering/soldering equipment and skills.

Fabia Mk1 SDI non-turbo diesel (ASY) engine management light
Yep, not til 1st July 2008, see pic below: Try to find a polite way of telling the tester to read his manual.

Fabia Mk1 SDI non-turbo diesel (ASY) engine management light
Could be early enough that the glow plug light doubles as an EML. I may be able to check via circuits in a bit. VIN may be handy. I'm also reasonably sure that a diesel of this age doesn't need its EML or equivalent checked at MOT. Will check that too.

Engine running ''bongs''
Petrol engines can be very quiet.

Engine running ''bongs''
There may an adaptation you can change with VCDS, but not sure which module it would be in.

Sump plug stripped
If I were you I'd fight quite hard to avoid this hefty, undeserved bill.

Fabia 1 wiring diagrams
There isn't just one pdf that covers that time span, there are 3 I think. Two of them can be downloaded via the links here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/files/file/76-mk1-fabia-workshop-manuals/

Fabia Mk3 Heated Rear WIndow stopped working
@Vanessa Fit a fuse in position 41 and see if it starts working again? 30 Amp is the correct rating @spig212 just because you can hear the relay operate doesn't mean that it is conducting. The contacts may be burnt out.

Hidden pre-wiring
Very unlikely to be any unused wiring, I'm afraid.

Confused and he'll needed please !?
The SK1 or SK4 number doesn't actually get printed anywhere on the motor, the SK240DDRS you're possibly seeing on the part number labels is the same on both versions I think, which are interchangeable anyway. The vital thing is that the main part number is exactly the same 6Y2959802 (for RHD later mk1 Fabia). 6Q2...ones won't work either. Anything without both of those 2's is not a suitable unit, no matter what an ebay seller may claim. Also beware of any that have that 6Y2959802 part number, but say VW240DDLS on the bottom line of the part number label, they're from LHD Polo, which also won't work correctly.

Intermittent flashing red oil light after oil change
Yes, wrong filter being supplied by Bosch under the correct part number, apparently. Was it from ECP? If so please make them aware that there is this problem.

Oil catch can
Engines have sophisticated built-in oil separators for the last couple of decades.
