  1. If you go on to the skoda website, open up a chat they will give you the spec and any extras based on you vin no.
  2. I have an Anker one: Anker Car Charger, Mini Aluminum Alloy 24W Dual USB Car Charger, PowerDrive 2 Alloy Car Adapter with Blue LED for iPhone12/11/XR/Xs, iPad Pro/Air 2/mini, Galaxy (Not Compatible with Quick Charge) : Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo Seems to do the job and no complaints from the kids in theback!
  3. Blimey that was bad - my 1995 Mk1 is ten years older and nowhere near as bad! Where did it live its previous life? In the tidal zone at the local seaside?
  4. Carista does the job too and is VAG specific so may be worth a try too.
  5. Sounds like you might need to be doing some careful checking for split / insecure pipes on the intake side of things??
  6. The issue here is that the VED value is NOT what you pay for the car... It is the list price of a vehicle of the same spec AT THE TIME OF FIRST REGISTRATION. That is different to the selling price which may have been agreed many months earlier
  7. There is a lot spouted about buses being environmentally friendly but when I last looked at pollution and emissions info you'd need over 20 people on a bus for it to be better than those same individuals each using their own car...
  8. Interestingly the most polluted location in Sheffield is the train station and specifically the pedestrian bridge over the tracks... The reason being the idling diesel locos spewing out black exhaust fumes and particulates.
  9. I had a Sony cfs210 when I started work... But I was sharing a house with some mates and we had it in the kitchen and one of them managed to melt it!
  10. You beat me to it - temp sensor for the Climate Control
  11. He he... Boom ox... Love it! I don't think I can post what some people used to call them as its not politically correct these days. I've got something similar to your Panasonic that I use in the garage... An old Sony CFM-23L that has two speakers but is mono... I remember buying it and being torn between it and another less well known make that had proper stereo speakers. I've also got an ancient Panasonic radio in there as well
  12. Just realised we're at cross purposes... I looked at your video again and the bus IS an eCitaro which can come with LMP batteries as I said... So we are actually talking about the same thing! Hence apologies for my mistake... I think I had a Man M12 in mind for some daft reason.
  13. Sounds like an issue with the fob. Some did suffer from excessive battery drain and have been replaced by dealers. I'd start by cleaning the battery contacts and making sure they are making good connection with the battery by bending them out a bit.
  14. No apology needed... I didn't say they weren't made... But Mercedes' info I've seen says they aren't in that vehicle. There is a version of the eCitaro with solid state battery technology but it's limited availability, cannot be used with pantographs etc. and has a range of about 120 to 200 miles which potentially limits it's use in general service.
  15. Those are lithium ion batteries... Not solid state... https://www.mercedes-benz-bus.com/en_GB/models/ecitaro/technology/battery-technology.html
  16. Who would have guessed... An electricity supply company trying to put people off hybrids and promoting EVs which use what... Oh yes electricity...
  17. You can always run a long cable tie side to side across both outlets on the pump. It doesn't need to be so tight as to break the connectors but should stop the popping off. If it needs to be held in position itself then use another at right angles to it round the pipe connectors... Sort of like... +---+
  18. I'd be tempted to put a small amount of something like tigerseal under them, push them back on and asking tape them in place until it sets - it worked wonders for the same issue on my old Civic.
  19. The £600 quote could be for a full propshaft and joint as Skoda will only supply as a complete unit and not the rubber joint separately...
  20. Fully comp!!! I was amazed it was that cheap to be honest... It was cheaper then the old Octavia.
  21. Sounds like your sorted which is good. I'm just back from taking my daughter out to practice round a nearby trading estate that is empty at weekends. It's slow going as she's distracted by A levels at the moment but I'm sure she'll get there eventually
  22. This. Page should help... https://www.haldexrepairs.co.uk/what-generation-of-haldex-is-on-my-car/
  23. Mileage sound right for the rubber doughnut ptopshaft coupling to have had it and it ties in with the droning under load at those rpm...
  24. You sure it's a bearing noise and not the rubber doughnut on the propshaft?
  25. Hi Ryan... I should have 2001 Fabia and accessories brochures from when we bought our estate in 2001 on a shelf in the spare room and also have some stuff on my laptop so I'll try and dig it out / scan it in for you next week.
