if anyone with the Skoda version wants to try and get TomTom 7 working, PM me. I can supply the install file or the files taken from the install itself from my Diamond and the free London map to try it out. If TT6 works then I see no reason why TT7 wouldn't. TT6 works on WM5 just fine.

And TT6 apparently works on the Witson unit. So TT7 should work on the Witosn (surely )

Mickey 32 can you let us know when you receive your item just to give an idea on shipping time. If you got it from esglobal If I remember it did say item ships from supplier which is China/HKong. Although reading that big 30 page thread on the satnav some supplies have dried up and they may be starting to supply units with upgraded firmware.

I think you'd need to be putting your name down plus sending £350 cash too. That's a lot of money for someone to stump up in advance for a group buy of 5+ units.....Tricky situation - you'd want all the monies in a bank before placing an order (though I reckon they would sell easily.....)

Got message from E.S.Global (ebay seller of Witson unit) and got confirmation of dispatch today so should be here tomorrow with a bit of luck

wonder what I'll be doing at the weekend then... where can I drive to that is pointless just to test out the satnav side?

T1000 or anyone else who has IGO working on the unit, do you have the instructions on which files need changing to get the resolution correct so I don't have to hassle the guy on the golfmkv forum?
