I use chrome polish on the wheels and find it does a superb job of making them easy to clean. Now the hose does the job!

Oh and Colin I'm with you on the Turtle Wax for 3.99 it's good value and the orignal wax is brilliant.

Not picking on you, Colin!

I've used Turtle Wax products in the past (if I looked carefully I might even find some in the garage). They look great when they are first put on but they don't last. There's a high proportion of silicone in them which gives a great initial shine but, IMHO, no depth.

If you like it, use it. No criticism of your car care regime intended!

Better to compare like with like IMHO - a lot of people who buy hot hatches aren't going to start modding them... (and if they had upgraded the furby suspension, they should have done the same to the mini...)

I think it wasn't to prove that the skoda was better than the mini or the other way around. It was more to highlight that diesel is just as good as petrol. The furby and mini aren't really in the same class, one you can use in the real world and the other is just a fashion statement!! I'll let you choice which is which
