Hello everyone :-)

I'm new to this forum but I just wanted to leave a quick message to say hello and...

...I've just ordered my Skoda Octavia vRS and it arrives next week!! Can't wait!! :D

I will have it this time next week...so less than a week to go! I've had to wait 6-8 weeks for previous new cars so is this some kind of record?

Mines going to have rear parking sensors on it. Are these worth having? This was the only car they could source in time so they're throwing them in for free!!! This on top a simply blinding deal anyway!!! :-)

Can anyone give me advice regarding 'running in' (BOO HISS)!

don't be to gentle with it on the running in,just drive it.

had mine 1 year now,covered over 30k mileage,no problems.

averaging 33mpg over that period,give or take.

mines had a Jabba Re-map aswell.

At TRAX i was first out on our session and had DaveU behind me,not for long though a Black Fabia vRS went past DaveU and before our session came to a early finish i could only just pull a car or 2 lengths away from the Fabia down Hangar Straight,and into corners and exiting he was all over me.

was very very impressed,made me wonder why i got the Octy,not for too long though!!

congrats!

some may disagree but many, many others on here found parking sensors on the octy invaluable. i had my first without them, so i had a direct comparison.

That Fabia was driven by kaivaksdal who is very experienced in driving on a track. Both Dave and I moved over nicely as track etiquette tells you to do.

Not wishing to bore anyone...but I'm getting the vRS on Thursday! :)

The final countdown has begun...just checked the weather forecast and it looks like rain on Thursday :( Teach me to get a black one!!!

Can't wait to move from a 'virtual' to a 'real' vRS owner!!!

Oh I don't know Wrighty, I reckon my old one would give a remapped Fabia a bit of a fright ;) I think Paul, Des, James (JBS), Colin, Eddy etc etc would also give them a good run too ;) Some of the remapped even have problems with my current "taxi" :D

Only cause they can't see through the smoke cloud :D

Well I'm back after an action packed day! The Octavia vRS has not dissappointed! :)

A truely fantastic car despite the fact that I am only running it in!

Can't wait for tomorrow :D
