Finally got time to install Audi TTRS brake cooling deeflcetors on front LCA.  Great fittment, and function I hope.

Also replaced old Powerflex steering rack blue bushing for Black series one.

Front strut bar is back in place after remowing chrome plating and polishing all the aluminium parts so I can fully tighten the bolts without being afraid chrome plating will break and start to peel of the aluminium as it did before.

Going all black.

Aftermarket badgeless grille with chrome surrounding is being painted in glossy vlack.

Fender emblems and trunk one are replaced with new black glossy and red V letters from new Octavia, also bought black red round trunk emblem from Kopacek but their red colour doesn't match OE red one on V letters so will have to repaint it by the guy in Germany from IG who does it and maybe just a red inner and outer border on ring and bird head, all the rest glossy black.

DBA T3 5000 series discs with holes rounded from oval 6,4x9mm to round 9mm.

AP Racing H bobbins shortened to be shorter 0,2mm (according to AP racing standard) than disc hole thickness.

Custom center hat made of 6082 ALU is concave in middle because očd Porsche disce had holes moved invard with step pf 3mm app, and the H bobbins aperture that requiees little thicker hat.

First test assembly and test fitting to see of the disc os in the very center pf caliper. Shouldn't be more tham 0,5mm offset-either to mill base of to much outward or shims if to much invard.

Than to www.elmet.hr for separate balancing of discs and hats (can't be balanced assembled because there is 0,35mm float) and than precise in microns eloxing by TIZ METALI in Zagreb.

Everthing will be controled afterward according to N1 and N2 AP Racing measurements given in pdf drawing

In the mean time I still have to make test fit to see if the center hats are done properly -positioning new discs in the very center of my calipers (only 0,5mm offset is tolerable). If so than Will ne sent for balancing - discs and center hat separatelly,  hard eloxation  in nature alu and assembly, than break in procedure

Test fitting is done. Discs are centered within 0,5mm as Brembo and AP racing reccommends.

Dismantčed and packaged and ready for balancing by the www.elmet.hr separatelly discs and hats due to the fact it is floating setup (0,35mm floating), and than hard elpxing in nature alu.

Ofcourse new MDX Blue stuff are comming to

We rerouted DV Lines to the opposite side to make place for new overboost pipe going over driver side to the Garrett FMIC and being single pass not dual like old Forge motorsport FMIC. Line still not finally shortened and fixed. Will be after finished installation of mentioned New FMIC

Endtanks recived diffusors same as HP Performance does, to avoid heat soak in upper part of FMIC. Core is Garrett 450x307x76mm, inlets are 63mm (2.5”), welded professionally by #veskoracevar and preparing for installation, overboost pipe over driver side, return Lines to TB over passenger side. DV rerouted already because of it. Than we Will measured IATs and post them Here.

After remaping my wife's A5 we did test drive and Matjaž looked at comp logs. I had a feelings car is left without "air" in full throttle pull and sometimes looses boost at 4000rpm,also repeatedly had 18010 error. Lambda Readingu was almost 1 and Lean mixture.

He first looked at 30A green fusses on top of the battery-oxidated, replaced them with new one-error is gone..

Than he said MAF and or fuel problem.

We disconected MAF-,improvement but still fuel problem. Oppened tank and inspected pump for fuel hose break and leak-everything ok, but than he asked me when did I replace fuel filter-more than 10y ago

So today I replaced old BOSCH which was installed 8.2018. for new one also from Bosch, and tested car, pulls like hell, ASR lighting all the way through  1,2 and 3rd gear. No errors.

Tomorrow will replace fuel filter to for Mann one.

More nice new and pictures for music upgrade to come.IMG_20231122_135528.thumb.jpg.8280de237d13ea985e7f52a6c8abbaaa.jpg

Car was left in Vesko racevar garage for the so long avaited installation of the new Garrett FMIC with 2.5" pipes all around.

Crash bar will be perforated and bumper cut for bigger mesh

Air filter Will be fully enclosed in new air box with air feed duct attached to it.

Box will be additionally thermo insulated with 1cm adhesive sponge with reflective alu film on it.

New air deflector in bumper will be made from Titanium, and adapted for the passage of new overboost pipe over driver side

On pictures you see how new core is thicker than old Forge one, same thickness as endtanks which are narrower than old Forge ones. I have measured old FMIC-core and endtanks and searched as crazy for the right one, from Wagner tuning (wanted their Competition core-fine tube)

to the Setrab and back to the Garret which turned out as perfect one.

Dimenasions are: 450x307x76mm rated for 750hp and perfect fit behind crash bar.

Updates to come...
