Good news is that my AMG S65 wcac has been delivered to https://bellintercoolers.com They Will start working on it  next week. Bad news is that lazy Croatian post didn't even ship jet my OEM SMIC :-((((((

Need to get measurements for expansion tank.

This mother****er Octavia is (as far as I am aware) going to be the FIRST IN THE WORLD Water cooled Golf MK4, Audi TT MK1, Seat Leon, Skoda Octavia MK1, WV Beetle MK1 1.8T 20V engine! Gonna be proud owner

Just made drawing of how it all should look like.

Good that heat ecxchanger from S4 is not dual but single pass so expansion tank will be also inline.

Hood news is that my SMIC reached USA. Today 2.41pm USA time it came to the Jersey City

I also made expansion tank drawing so it will be flat with the bumper upper surface behind the oil cooler as now FMIC is with 1-2cm protrufing neck for tank cap.

My OEM SMIC finalllllllyyyy arived at destination 

Now work can began

 

F.....g DENSO IRIDIUM IK24 gapped to 0.024" instead of 0.032" and IK20. Couldn't start the car.

Worked until now and error P1602 appeared. Checked everything and at the end did put oem ngk ones and started and worked as a baby

So I bought New DENSO IRIDIUM IK20TT and installed them. No more start up problems. Works flawless now, (was also good with old IK24 before which suddenly started making problems)

Bought them for 10.35gbp each

Bell intercooler has started adaptation of my AMG S55 to mimic my OEM SMIC.  It seems that there are companies in Croatia which also works for Rimac Automobili- fastest Electric car - Concept one and two. And I am planing to use them for custom heat exchanger. I Will not go into the height. Will use only Space below crush bar to be maximally efficient in cooling  so max 10-13cm in height but width will go up to 10cm. Lenght is for sure 60cm and maybe up to 70cm...so cubic volume (LxWxD) should be around or over 6000cm³. That can feed later on forged stroked block, CNC ported head and tfsi K04-064 390 hybrid.

Water lines must be cut to and rerouted Like on the picture drawings

Not sure when. One of my friends is flying to Croatia at january 6th-maybe to soon to expect it and other is sending big container via ship in March. So that is an option to. They made me offer for custom Heat exchanger HEX325050240xxx

No for now, it turned out that Sparks were quilty. Replaced them for New ones. Haven't driven car since than-in garage unregistered without headlamp so I just turned it on in garage and it was flawless. Will check it on the road this days

MINE KICKED UP SAME CODE BUT HAD THE RELAY GO ALTOGETHER A FEW YEARS BACK SO WONDERING IF ON ITS WAY OUT AGAIN 

Just spoked (via mail) With Mike from Bell intercoolers and expansion tank is finished and WCAC is about 40% finished. Will be tomorrow. So I asked for few pictures for You guys here before I get it in March. Hard waiting time in front of me. This week Will take measure for custom heat exchanger and will keep You updated.
