Latest update.

Car was yesterday on dyno table whole day.

At the end od the day tuner reslised that MAF isn't reliable any more. When under pressure he is not returning to previous normal values when throttle is off but gives to big flow and than gives abnormaly big amount of fuel to engine and than after some time returns to normal functioin while BBT K300 doesn't go over 1.4bar.....and storry continues

Can't wait to get my tuned car back. Didn't expect so many difficulties.

First N75 not working due to the small ball in boost line

Than restrictive Forge FMIC (Settled With WIC)

Than dirty spark plugs and dirty coroded coils (were replaced for new ones from factory not so long ago)- cleaned and treated with ceramic

Small injectors Siemens Deka 440 replaced by Bosch EV14 550cv 52lb

And now MAF out of function-ordered new Bosch one

Hope that will be all.

Only thing remained is getting water cooled stuff and install it on the car instead of Forge FMIC

and for problems, well I would say it is all part of tuning.. Yes, noone expect that many problems, but tuning reveals all problems that normally is not possible to see. I do hope maf is last in line before this part is done.

btw, what happened to your k04-001?

K04-001 was and still is in great shape. No shaft play and it worked perfectly giving 269.5hp and 375Nm what is one of higher values you can find for it. Ofcourse it is now for sale if anyone interested.

And I hope (God help me) MAF is the last one before blowing my 19mm pin non forged engine ;-)

Forgot to mention first problem we had. Car wasn't getting throttle at all because of worn tube on fuel pump unit in tank-one that connect oe surge tank With top cover-he replaced it.

Bought New MAF.

Today he should get it by post in Slovenia and hope, as Joo said, that it is the last problem in already long list of ones in this custom remap session

Matjaž Ogrinc is Great. We Just spoked. He Will check in the morning on cold car how does it start up-is it ok or not. If yes I Will Pick it up. I wonted to order amg v12 watercooler, Bosch pump and Heat exchanger ....and he Said wait:biggrin: because he is getting something newer and better. Mahle wic and brushless pump that doesn't worn out as old ones. Something WV uses on their latest cars.....can't wait to get that kit guys. At the end od the week he Will have three sets of them. One is my! All the reccommendation to www.rsrmotorsport.com and Matjaz Ogrinc always ahead of competition and his durability is something that is fascinating. Thumbs up

forge is definitely in problems with that turbo and even 15 hp is questionable for that investment, I am wondering what will be after couple runs of hard driving, 

 

So it could be smart to go on water cooled or similar.

Yes. We defined the new wic which is almost the same in dimenssions Like OE SMIC, has two temperature sensors over which ecu (when connected to it) regulates how water pump works. He is waiting for prices from 8 companies for front Mount water cooler-heat exchanger because they are New and can be obtained only through official dealership  network which is 5x more expensive. So he is pulling his strings to get best Price together with latest technology water pump. New WIC on the pictures is 150eur

this really look interesting. so, it is SMIC, I see one more benefit from that, front water cooling will no longer be affected by FMIC, as air flow will be better.

It is closed system,separated from the engine. Only thing that I still haven't solved is that question. Beside filler neck there should be a tank also. I found online only this one on the picture black bottle on the right. And yes better engine watter cooling because Free Space in front of water radiator. We Will see what Matjaž Says. He is not mentioning that and we all know that the tank when hot and when cold is not filled the same level. Fluid expands.
