Strange you should mention the Scimitar, as a guy at the office across from work drives one in every day. A fairly ratty white GTE to be fair!

My xr3i,been sat in a mates barn for 8 years.Never see one on the road for years and even getting rare to see at ford shows,have only seen 4 i think all year at shows

Well , today I saw an immaculate 205 GTI , a G reg triumph 2000 , a triumph spitfire , a D reg rover 200 - the old boxy shape ones , and a rectangular Ford Granada.

Quite a good day for oddities.

The Brooklands wheels were 15" I believe, the wheels pictured are a 14"

The Brooklands had 15s , the 2.8i special had a 13 inch version of the same wheel , the 2.8i had 13 inch pepperpots , and the laser had the same wheels as the late S model capris , the (Mk 2 escort style) RS 4 spokes.

Over the past week I've spotted a 1974 Hillman Avenger,

The Avenger being the rarest of the bunch I think.

Yesterday I saw an F reg Saab 900 & a Ford Granada Scorpio

Does anybody else see the word "goose" when looking at the badge of a SAAB 900SE ???

On Thursday round Cambridge saw a Red Mitsibushi Starion(wide body version)looked in very good condition as well.

Step-dad used to have Volvo P1800 not seen one of them on the road in a long time.

Probaby been said before but MK1 and MK2 cavaliers are now preety much gone

however there is a guy that lives near me with an immaculate MK2 Silver hatchback and he seems to use it as a daily runner

I took the 1.3 engine out and put the 1.6 in

Then I had a Capri 2.0s MK3 in Stratto Silver

The mods was endless on that little beauty

Then went on to the Toyota Supra , the one with the Lotus suspension and poppy up headlights

Then on to the Nissan 200

But the Avenger will always be one close to my heart

I saw a stunning Tiger in Manchester area a while ago , and got me going mental again

And knowing the build quality on those cars, there's about 1 chance in 4 you got a slower car as a result! (Used to live about 10 miles from Linwood, and both my uncles had several examples of the Avenger each.)
