  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Put Alan's old vRS Plate surround on and fitted his 'Curry' Hook in the boot

So took ASV and EGR off my06 fab vrs and Jesus crist it was shocking how clogged up it was!!

So gave them a good clean up with carb cleaner and they looked brand new when I finished!

Also took the 24mm EGR gasket out and replaced it with the 9mm gasket for the shudder fix and now it runs like I have a brand new car!!

Can't believe I didn't change the gaskets sooner!! No more hesitation!!

Now tomorrow i just have to whip the smic off and give that a clean and then use mr muscle to clean the turbo out!!

Oh and fitted my pressed plates with Skoda Vrs surround!

Fitted my sunglasses holder from mk4 golf.

Now to find some sunglasses that actually fit in it.

fitted my fakra 2:1 adaptor. Stereo out and refitted in under 10 mins

Not today, but yesterday. Skoda into garage for its MOT and to get the rear bump stops replaced, all done. Happy customer :-)

Left it at the bodyshop..........again. Some twonk hit me in car park and left no details, minor damage to front corner but still needs a repair.

Was promptly given a Daewoo Lacetti as a courtesy car, not happy!

Was that not the "reasonably priced car" at one time???

Defrosted my wife's Roomster, then departed for work in the Superb, Roomster keys still in my pocket :)

After returning the key, drove to work across Weston Hills, on a snowy/icy road, in thick freezing fog. Good fun, even with winter tyres. Traciton control turned into disco light :)

Taken the Octavia into the dealers for a new Horn and the battery problems checked

fitted my fakra 2:1 adaptor. Stereo out and refitted in under 10 mins

tested said adapter and I now have a working radio

Fitted diadem rear indicators and winter boots yesterday, replaced some LEDs today

Drove her for the 1st time in a week and a half. Went to Newhaven to pick up a part from a car breakers. :)

Fitted the essential mod:

A Brisky sticker  .

Went for a little wiz on my day off and blew her a kiss when I put her back in the garage.

washed her, plugged her into the charger.

Friday she will be treated to new suspension and clutch.

I drove the Yeti to Nottingham and back, normal day at work, as for Fabia, it was frozen block so it got left untouched and is still a frozen block.

playing in the ice big open tarmac space privet too........ was great fun just skidding and not haveing to worry about hitting any think :-) skoda dancing on ice to cold to video.....

Tested out the winter tyres, they well and truly work !! Empty car park, got into work early, was lots of fun and very controllable :)

Will still drive with caution but at least know they will help when needed.

Picked her up from the bodyshop.

Made it dance across the ice.

I moved the Fabia out of the way, as it parks near the bottom of a hill, in the last five years we have had cars crash into my Audi and next doors house, so it is safely out of the way.

I drove the Yeti to Newcastle and back for work, disappointed that we haven't had more snow, I thought we were getting a lot, must have been the media bull shirting us.
