  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

wrestled the Yeti up and then down the M6 in the high winds! could compare it to a good workout :whew:

Paid for road tax & finally sorted out GAP insurance, for the measily sum of £83 for 3 years worth of cover.

Had powerflex & ibiza cupra bushes fitted to the front end plus four new glow plugs...

They did a great job. Keyed, drivers wing, drivers door, rear drivers door and above the petrol cap.

Gutted.

Very sorry to hear that bowen. Had exactly the same done to the nearside on my almost new jag a few years ago. On that occasion over 30 cars keyed in the same few minutes along the same road.

^ bar stewards. Drove mine a longer than normal distance to give the battery a kick up the a*****

Managed to fix mine so it selects 1st gear perfectly : )

Fitted VW damped grab handles and an HID kit

What took so long? :giggle:

Washed clayed and a coat of blackfire wet diamond and sealed my glass again.

Fitted adjustable drop links, raised the back a bit as the guard over the exhaust hits speed bumps and adjusted the exhaust so it sits flush with the bumper, also solved my interior light problem by replacing a 10amp fuse :)

A very nice lady in work let me straight swap my 17: Zeniths for her 18" Zeniths!

Shes trading in and I cheekily asked if she wanted to swap and she said yeah no problem!

Car sits a bit high now but tackling droplinks and rear bump stops in the next week or so, so will fit my Eibach sportline springs while im at it.

Also cleaned and SRP'd the life out of it today!

Havent cleaned the Octavia over winter and now after removing the dirty and grime i can see more scratches ffs!

Fitted grill back onto the car, also replaced front passenger wing and put lamin-x on fog lights. :)

Washed the front wing at 6:30am due to a massive bird poop. I washed, polished and waxed it Saturday! How inconsiderate...

Cleaned it - inside and out.

Just been to local retired car body shop guy as someone pulled out into the side of my car on the way home lat night. 2 doors , cill and rear wheel arch need dents removed and painted. Oh the joys.

Car booked in to get sorted. I would say as he went into me it is mainly his fault but i was passing him as we were stuck in stationary traffic approaching a junction. Everyone turning left and i wanted to go right so rather than wait for 5 minutes i decide to nip out and pass the 8-10 cars sitting stationary, this other guy had the same idea as me and pulled out. I sounded the horn but it was too late. Stupid manouvere on my part hence why im not claiming against him through insurance, they may well say knock for knock anyway.

Still bloody annoying though.

Stuck the roof bars on and two long ladders and went down my grandparents to pick up carpets. I've carried 25kg of kayak before and it's never been as unstable as it was today. It was all tied down the same as I do the kayak but with all the wind it was really unstable.

4 hours of washing, polishing and waxing to park up for 5 minutes to come back to it covered in pigeon poo. The bloody thing was still sitting up there when i got back probably laughing to itself!!!

It wasn't the road junction area at George street in Aberdeen was it. That area is a effing nightmare.

I've been fiddling with spacers and washers to try to figure out how to make the handbrake cables work properly on my felicia with rear disc brake conversion. I've lost the will to live now.

Today was hard wire my blackvue and pogo alert to the car.

No in dyce. Was pretty minor and luckily didnt cause any additional traffic chaos as the traffic in Dyce at rush hour is already chaotic anyway.
