  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Squirmed about in the bloody snow!

Drove from Sheffield to Lincoln in it. Scout + winter tyres = excellent combination!

Cursed the crappy design of the boost pipe lugs.

still broken and awaiting new part to come. i hate getting lifts to work.

Drove from Northampton to Bedford and back. Trip there took 35 minutes, journey home took 4 hours (stopped at costco as needed the toilet, and grabbed a coffee at a cafe as bored following people doing 20 and hitting the brakes every two seconds because they are following the car in front to close. )

On a plus side the 4x4 on the octavia worked like a charm, and the sports channel saved us a couple of times. (My work partner calls it the espn button).

Broke loads of trim on wifes Fabia while I tried to get access to inside the door to retrieve window whilst on the side of the road in the snow :wall:

Drove to work, stayed 90 mins and left.

and then safely home after I cleared the drive

and a close up while it sat at the top of the drive while I was clearing it

drove home after a 12hr shift & got stuck in the snow three times 5mins from my destination..

dont rate the toyos s##t in the snow lol.. having new tyres monday..

Drove the kids to a nearby hill to go sledging. Drove into the car park (uphill) parked and went sledging. Came back to see a bloke in Mondeo trying to get to where I had parked, he sat there with the wheels spinning then he turned round and slid back down the car park and stopped about 6 inches from a big wooden fence. Winter tyres make such a difference.

I also discovered last night that the 4x4 means power slides are possible in the snow.

drove to the hospital. drove back home 12hrs later with baby #2 :) 4wd? pah, the vrs was fine ;)

Looked at it feeling sorry for itself on the drive covered in snow :'(

congratulations and wow they didn't keep you in long

Currently having all the boost pipe connectors renewed as were all loose, leaking in a couple of places

Next up, call to Unit 18..... B)

congratulations and wow they didn't keep you in long

Cheers! Went in at just gone midnight on Thursday and was told to go home until contractions had become more regular. We were back in at 7:55, Oscar arrived at 08:24! Cutting it fine!!! Then got home 12 hours later as they'd done all the checks and stuff and we just wanted to get home!

Cleared snow off a bit of it, scanned and cleared faults and tried taking the front grill off. :)

Proved SWMBO wrong by getting out of my garage and back alley in 4" of snow and without winter tyres!

Bought it ;-)

Parked it in the MDs spot. Good job he is not in today, wasn't best pleased when I nicked it last friday

Drove to work and drove home. That seems to be all lately. Still yet to give it a proper detail

Yay! 200k!

Gonna treat her to a good int/ext clean, some -25 celcius washer fluid (Using -18 rated atm and I wouldn't be surprised if hits -20 at night. Measured -15 at 11 am the other day.) and some 102 octane.

Looked at it, decided it needs a clean and chose to leave it dirty... The dirt protects the paint right?

Played around with it. CH/LH lights completely disabled, checked rain sensing was correctly coded (need to pour water on the car) and fixed the mpg readout. 111% it needed to be set working on my last 8 fill ups

Stuck another 500ml of oil in. Roughly 300 miles to that. Can't see me keeping this car past warranty.

Removed chrome grill.

Had 4 wheel alignment checked..... all good apart from the tracking was out :)
