  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

Fitted a newer CAN gateway :)

Yesterday....

New knob!

Really fits in well with a nice retro-fitted FL wheel I always find ;)

And some rear side window blinds too...

Cheers to Pete8tch for his assistance emoticon-0148-yes.gif

And today - some new front wiper blades, from Valeo. The snappily titled Silencio X.TRM FLAT, apparently.

Later today.... it's Bolero re-fit time, now I've got the newer CAN gateway in.

You've gotta love this extra light in the evenings now... the possibilities are endless :D

Cheers,

Steve

Looking good Wardy.

good job Wardy, you've almost converted all your interior to FL now, lol

LOL - only the good bits ;)

BTW..I want some rear window blinds

They do come up now and again Chris. Or Palm Automotive, or whatever they're trading as this week (!), via their online shop or eBay. These ones are now on their 3rd Brisky owner :D

Washed and polished the Fabia today and removed a scratch thanks to the little darlings two doors down! :@

Davy

had JKM fit Cruise Control B)

Fitted new brake pads to the car, only to find out that the garage who did them last managed to cross thread one bolt on each carrier :swear:

Glued my drivers side mirror glass back on :o

As VCDS came in post today, did some tweaks...still learning though.

Vacuumed the inside, cleaned the insides of the glass and cleared some of my work junk out of the boot. Then did a 60 mile round trip to my sons birthday party and then had to clean the outside when I got back at 7pm as there was copious amounts of bird poo on it :( Second cleaning in three days.

Removed the dealer's free advertising sticker as it was annoying me with how out of place it looked.

Gave it a wash

Yesterday cleaned the car with new Nilfisk pressure washer, Today polished the car, its all shiney and sparkling now. :)

I hopedHalfords might be doing a much cuter version of a window toy, to replace Garfield :D

yesterday i traded it in....

Swore at it. Thumped the steering wheel. Limped Home. Wrote off the rest of the day. Made plans in earnest to finally get it out of my life.

Ready to fit :)

cleaned and polished it

Checked the oil, coolant, Brake Fluid and topped up the screenwash and about to stick some diesel in it for a wee break away down to Yorkshire tomorrow.

Found out the both manual door locks were full of muck and siezed up  Cleaned out both so I could get the key in, drivers works, boot doesn't! Tried fitting a shark fin aerial - connections were different so gave up! Now looking for adapters. Tried to fit replacement rear drivers side seatbelt - ended up running out of time and after lots of swearing got the trim back together without replacing the belt!

Sometimes I wonder why I bother! :|
