What did you do to your Skoda today?

Cleaned up and painted my 312mm calipers and carriers in Hammerite Smooth Black prior to being fitted this week, and installed the upgrade Blaupunkt rear speakers :)

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Washed it.

Too dark to do anything else, even with the flood light on.

1000th post!

Removed a pesky leaf from my heater motor, what a racket that made!!

Washed both today.

Took my Bolero out again, as there's still something I've not quite coded right! :S

Wife and baby are currently in Singapore heading to the UK for 4 weeks. So I have two lists of jobs to do while they're away - mine and hers. :D

Just swapped the bling fuel lines back to the originals as I got a strong whiff of fuel when I opened the bonnet - don't like that !!

Also removed the baby seat (it rattles!) and went to start diagnosing my amp whistle but it won't do it today.

I went around the back of the car just after starting it and there was a weird exhaust noise - sounded like cowbells in the exhaust. It stopped once the engine warmed up a bit - I assume when it quietens is when it disables the VVT (and pushes in the choke?).

I still think your automated organic hoover/licker device was the best Rob :)

Foam and pressure washer rinse, followed by water from end of hose pipe to sheet all the water off.

It only had a very light dusting of.... well dust i guess, so didn't need a mitt n 2buckets.

Ah right - yep with you. Do that sometimes myself too, particularly in the summer months emoticon-0148-yes.gif
