The Twins. (And Yeti RS)

Sorry, ABS should have been airbag in above post!

So your Airbag ECU (located next to the gearbox shifter on the TTRS) is not connect, correct?

I don't mind warning lights in the dash, I've was reading in another forum that the ABS won't work if you disconnect the Airbag ECU.

I still have my ABS, and airbag ECU.

Any updates Richard with Beford closing in?

Plenty of time before Bedford. :)

...

So I am optimistic for Bedford.

If it's not done I'll bring something I've not tracked before as I've taken a deposit on the 280bhp Fiesta ST.

Something that's pretty quick.

*pretty and quick ;-)

You going to track the new toy already! Top work.

Top work, and of no great surprise! :D

Sorry been a bit distracted over the last few days.

The last part of the turbo kit has been done and was sent from the USA Friday/Monday according to Iroz Motorsport who make the 700-1000bhp 5 pot turbo kits.

That should be here by the end of the week, fingers crossed.

One that arrives it's pretty much a case of bolting it to the engine and popping it in.

Then the ECU guy needs to finish off the ECU, fit it, copy of the can-bus stuff and map it.

Just in case anyone wondered why nothing had been posted for two weeks about the Yeti despite the kit due...  it never turned up.

Iroz Motorsport's sudden influx of orders, some third party production delays and not enough staff to handle demand meant that the package that was ready to be sent (or already sent) wasn't.

But after chasing up it's being sent this week by FedEx Priority post due to the wait.

Fingers crossed picture of a turbo kit will appear on this thread next week...

Indeed, but the delays mean it's probably going to miss the Briskoda track day at Bedford on the 16th May.

As the custom ECU needs to be sorted once the car is up and running.

On the bright side, I'll take the orange thing if it passes the sound test.

That's a shame. At least it's going to progress again

You can't do anymore than you have already done, it's coming along and as you can say you can always bring Marmaduke along. ;)

Have you considered what to do with the rear washer set up? The water needs to go somewhere should someone accidentally operate the rear washer from the stalk.

Nitrous purge :giggle:

No, but I pick the Focus RS tomorrow so will have something to use.

Orange thing too loud for Bedford it turns out.

Wouldn't have thought they would make a super car too loud to use on track!!

Has the Yeti had an aftermarket exhaust or are you still running the standard one?

Bedford are known to be super tight on noise. I've heard that some cars fail drive by for tyre squeal there sometimes.
