Are you going to go with local tuner on the IMS kit or use the UM ECU sw from Iroz?

Probably get it custom mapped with info and feedback from Iroz.

I have a brand new head just waiting to get fitted, perhaps in the future I could have it reworked to flow as good as yours =).

What is the main reason for not going with the map from Hank?

With it being in a different shell we have to alter a few things.

So he can't do a map (IMO) that allows for my different parts like Exhaust, intercooler etc... which are one offs.

I'd rather get it mapped once fitted so it can be done to the car's particular spec.

Understood, logically custom map will be the best option in your case.

Going with MRC tuning?

If I knew who they were, I might be able to answer that question. :D

MRC tuning are quite big in the Audi world, I have seen them tune a lot of S4s over the years. (I was looking at 2.7s a while back).

They are known for tuning TTRS/RS3 and other high power Audi cars.

Yes it will be tuned at MRC starting with the iroz motorsport map as a base

Never heard of them.

Never heard of them.

Me neither, which doesn't prove much except that you're not the only one to never have heard of them.

I've heard of them :p

Have a good rep in the Audi community, on the bigger engined Audi's.

What was the main reason for changing the entire wiring loom? What prevented you from adjusting the current one?

The TT-RS clocks, ECU to run 5 cylinders and engine.

And Canbus.

As I understand you wanted to stay with the OEM Yeti clocks and wiring loom?

I've got the wiring loom for the engine but was hoping to avoid changing the remaining loom. The thing that makes it more difficult for me is that I have an older generation of wiring for the PQ35 VAG platform (Yeti/Leon/A3/Golf...) . Thereby my relays, BCM, Clock utilizes completely different connectors. I've seen the TTRS swapped performed on a Golf MK6 (PQ35) with no change of clocks or wiring. Just trying to determine what path to go myself...

Really looking forward to seeing the latest incarnation of the Yeti at Castle Combe.

500bhp on a wet Snetterton was already something special. The extra power will be unbelievable
