At Druids, Brands Hatch, for example you'd want 2nd to shoot out of the corner.

It was epic around snetterton, even though it was broken, so I can only imagine how epic it's going to be

Yes sorry, been a bit busy with the race team and getting cars ready...

 

Good news is they are pretty much done now so have ordered the final bits (hopefully) needed for the Yeti.

 

Syvecs ECU and a twin injector set up.

Might allow us to push a bit more power out of it.

 

Just waiting on an expected delivery time.

Yes, for some reason Brisky Racing got a bit busy and now we are looking at TCR new year.

Which has meant that a track day toy fell down the list of priorities....

 

Anyway, yesterday we ordered the manifold and some other parts so we can start to get back on this over the winter as it's been too long and I'd love to see it out again.  And shock a few supercar owners in it!

I've also spoken to two people that are very respected Syvecs ECU dealers over the last week and they are happy to do the ECU work and mapping.

 

The only issue could be the manual box life, but following discussions with a Eurpoean VAG tuner there is a way round it.  Worse case we use the stronger DSG box from the Tiguan.

But hopefully we can retail the manual.

 

I'll update with some shiny parts pictures when they arrive.

Yes I've been rather distracted with GT-R and race car stuff.

But having a mass sell off of collections and un-needed projects because my main car focus is not doing daft stuff at great cost again and again.

 

So missed having the Yeti as it's always a great laugh.

Time to sort that out.  And do more track days.

Was the most amazing car I’ve ever been in, pretty much laughed the whole way around snetterton in this thing. 

Yeti back on the ramp, engine in with twin injector manifold etc... 

 

 

Few jobs to do to finish, like sorting best air intake source for as much cold air as we can get.

These engines do run rather warm when tuning on the intake/exhaust.

Good news, good news. After the R32s and R34s, this is my favourite car that you've ever owned because I like sleepers, and my usual issue with SUVs is that they're "too high".

Perfect timing for all this bad weather...

 

Just what we all need a 4x4 Yeti with a little bit more than a remap  ..

The two likely options are large letterbox collector along the whole of the top of the radiator, or from the circular fog light leaving the main headlight intact.

The second option is not really in keeping with the plan of the car looking fairly normal so will only happen if option one not good enough.
