I am inclined to agree with Gizmo68, having seen my std next to yours, given i will not be off roading i cannot see why it should not be dropped to the same height as yours to give it the less look of it being on stilts.

This would also look to be the proper height for the ' Urban Version '

This looks like it could be a group buy for Yeti owners for lowered suspension :rofl::rofl:

Just fit the Greenline springs.....

Just fit the Greenline springs.....

will this work with the difference in weight between the 1.6TDI 2WD (Greenline) and a 2.0TDI 4x4?

Guy

Just fit the Greenline springs.....

I don't mean to state the obvious but there's a bit of a difference between Greenline springs and KW v3s ... there's a lot more to lowering than just shorter springs.

I do like the look of it as is though. And it must feel a lot more resolved than a Yeti on stock suspension.

It was just a guess. I have never lowered a car, but I have raised one.

My current vehicle is about 100mm taller than a Sport version, and about 70mm higher than a standard Freelander 1.

The Greenline springs give a 15mm drop all round.

Personally I think it looks just like a Yeti should look, the arch gap is too big as std.... anyone would think they are meant to be driven off road! lol

I took ours down a farm track once and it never bottomed out :D

that reminds me, Richard. Not sure if ours is a greentech or not? The TDI badge is in green though.

Found these on ebay, item No. 371065845316 £130 delivered!

That's a good place to save the weight. Keep up the lightening work.

It's a damn side cheaper to remove weight from the rear end! :D

That battery is tiny! Why can't they use these on all road cars?

Possibly because they go flat quicker.

Fine for regular use, but for occasional use could be an issue if you don't charge it.

Not to mention they are a bit more than double the cost.

Are you running the 2.0tfsi coilpacks too?

It's pretty cool.

You can cycle through three (or more, by setting up more) screens with four display items per screen.

There are loads of things you can choose to show.

I've got screen two as the four cylinders for misfires which meant I could actually see which coil pack was failing as the car coughed.

I could see the rate of misfires adding up on cylinder three as it happened.

Screen three I've got more trouble shooting stuff, like being able to see when the car pulls the timing for some reason.

It is a very good bit of kit!

Sounds great. How much are they, might I ask?

You'd have to ask Jabbasport, they are the only people I've ever seen selling it.

It would be sweet to have this information as standard.

Just a thought but do you think your IATs are too high? That might cause the car to go into self protection mode and pull the timing. Although yopu do seem to have a much bigger intercooler. Or maybe the fuel injectors are maxed out and the ECU/map can't add any more fuel to cool things down. It's hard when you're on the bleeding edge.
