car is still off the road as im waiting for a couple of bits from postman pat (should be here today) and the Twin pass will be ordered as soon as i get payment from the fella whos buying my singlepass. (i think hes forgot lol ) Once thats here the car should be pretty much driveable. Cars in bits so its stupid to put it back together to just take it apart again to fit the fmic. LONG!!

Should be at the next prept i hope!

Small update.. Postman has brought me some bits, shame i need to go work in a bit.

Lloyd and Gee for brisky calender definately - 2 cars that really make you happy just to look at what real effort can achieve. :clap:

so my bay is starting to look like a bay again.

Have done the following..

Dump valve relocation kit (cold side) *Prolongs the life of the DV as they dont cook all the time. Keeping temps down as well.

EVAP / VAC and breathers Simplification.

N249 Delete

N112 delete

SAI Delete. (pump not yet moved)

Silicone Breathers

Removed SMIC and plastics

Silicone Turbo intake pipe

Silicone Boost pipes

Painted manifold

Painted Cam cover

Replaced Oil dip stick housing

TB gasket

Forge EGR Blanking Plate

Audi R8 oil cap

Breather System O ring on main block replaced

Removal of all Solid Vac piping.

Coil pack Loom Tidy up ----- (all plastics cowling removed)

Fuel rail Modified and loom Tidy up ---- (all plastics cowling removed)

Waiting for the post man to bring me...

More silicone pipe to complete VAC simplification

Alloy blanking plugs

Twin pass Front mount intercooler and piping

Oil catch can adapters and piping

Jubilees

Silicone Boost Elbow pipe

I have had no car for about 3 weeks, and this had been long.com.. heres a couple pics from tonight..

this was this afternoon.. all bit finally bolted together

The Fuel rail looks so nice naked without all that ****ty plastic all over it. I modified the way it sat and lost the plastic stuff. I replaced the cowling on the loom with the round stuff.. i done the same on the the coil pack loom too.

jom fits ok after a little modification before i sprayed it. Tho, it will not be going on the car as i got me self a Audi S3 upper brace last night thanks to MissingmyVrs off of here, so i might just bang it on Ebay.

Postman arrived with more bits today but STILL not the important bits i need!!

done some more today.. All i have to do is fit the FMIC and pipe work, and run a pipe for the coolant return. a load of jubly bubblys and its should be drivable. woop!

Been on missions today, Went to see a Certain Clive today to pick up a couple of bits,

Braided fuel lines and Braided Coolant return pipe. S3 Strut brace.

Been to W8 Performance to collect a N75J valve..

Postman pat also brought me a box too!...

FMIC i have offered up but i need to remove the towing eye to run the upper pipe work.. (long!) The braided lines look very nice tho and really make the engine bay look nuts up against my exposed Polished Fuel rail.

Nearly there now.. getting bored driving my transit about, and getting more bored with small progress on getting on the road.
