See if you can persuade surgeon or anaesthetist to take some pics during the op for some 'unusual engine bay pics'

Wish I'd thought of that when my fistula was being superficialised!

Best of luck buddy; but don't worry, they won't let you die on the table, too much paperwork!

Thanks, Pete.

Funny you say that as I was saying the very same thing to Zee last night, but thought it was a bit sadistic 🤷‍♂️

I was also gonna ask if I could take the FUBAR’d valve home 😛

I was initially terrified of this surgery as they’re is a ~30% chance of them not being able to wake me up, but then my surgeon said that he has done as many as 7 OHS on the same, much older and unfit patient and given what he could see I shouldn’t worry at all. Very reassuring!

As long as they don't tell you that having an issue is "a million to one shot", because we all know those happen seven times out of ten! ;)

Well I popped in just to see what's going on with your Fabia vRS only to come across the last two pages!

It's 9:45am on the 6th as I'm reading this, so I guess there might be a short delay in any updates 🙄

All the best Jars - see you on the other side.  Even though I don't know you, my thoughts are with you

Brings a whole new meaning to the term 'red dotted'.

Unless it's directions for the surgeon - heart under here somewhere.... 😁

Cheers fellas …. I  was woken from the coma after 6 hours (was told to expect 12/18  given this is number 3) then “woke” at 2am Saturday morning.

Just been told I’m off to the high dependency ward, so seems they are happy with how it’s going 🤘

I did ask for a picture of me cut open in the end, which they duly obliged!!

Not had the balls to open my emails as yet 🙈

They cut away your balls? 😲
