I know brake lights are not the easiest things to check, but I see it far too often.

It's easy enough though to get into a habit of checking, if a bus is behind me I check in its front window same if I reverse into a parking space and a windows behind the car

Agreed. I don't have a problem checking it, you get to know where you can test it. Equally just as fun providing a random light show for someone too.

Don't test out the full beam when behind a white van, it's pretty dazzling.

Seeing women using the gear stick like its some sort of abdominal workout smashing it round the place instead of just placing it in gear.

Also that annoying moment when you slow to let someone go, you have flashed, they don't go, you flash again, they don't go AGAIN, so you go to proceed and they crawl out.

A huge amount of modern Nissan's I see have their front fogs on (Qashqai, Juke & Note), I wonder if the switch or on-dash warning is easily missed?

True that. They all seem to use em

I was only thinking that the other day actually.

Yesterday, Muppet in a ceed drifting across the continuous white line every right hand bend despite a low sun and oncoming traffic. Then him overtaking a lorry through a reverse bend with no view and a continuous white. Then! Overtaking another lorry on a double continuous white! That was the 3rd strike, rang him into trafficwatch with reg no. Dangerous *****. Then just to add to it, me phone decided to not open the keyboard when tapping to post reply on brisky threads!!!

Can't speak for the Qashqai or the Juke, but my missus has a 64 plate Note, and the "front fogs" are the DRLs.

This annoyed me thoroughly today.

Right at start of video oncoming truck has pulled across road into oncoming lane and is slowing to stop. Perhaps he is looking / unloading here and wants to get in behind the other truck already there so that neither of them can unload back to back?? No he leaves it diagonally in the middle of road so that the lazy ignorant pratt can open his window and have a conversation with the truck parked up.... Absolute waste of skin driving an oversized van.

The white HGV that pulled out onto a roundabout as I was about to pass his exit and just kept effing coming until he finally realised I had right of way, no where to go to, and we were about to meet with driving into the side of the car.

I did not catch his reg as I was too busy trying not to lose my temper.

One of my friends had that over the Christmas period but with a bus...   she is now one Fabia donw as the insurance wrote it off.  THe bus drivers comment was along the lines of "well I was in the correct lane"...   unfortunately he appears to have missed the point that he did not have right of way regardless of the lane he was in...

Yeah a lot of modern cars with DRL's use the front fog locations for the DRL's.

The Qashqai, Juke and Note have only just got them recently though.

I work close to Sunderland so every man and his dog drives a Nissan!

Cars and vans in front of me at the bottom of our street who ignored the cyclist going straight across and almost took him out.

Also at the painted roundabout in the shopping centre car park the SUV who was coming from my left but apparently thought he had right of way. I was indicating right to use the roundabout to do a U turn, going 5-10kph less. He got pretty close before realising I wasn't going to stop for him.

What is it with mini-roundabouts that is so confusing?

The one by the mower shop in Leominster is packed with idiots; if you go to turn right (across the main flow of traffic) as is your priority, no-one stops or gives way and the number of times I have been beeped at for correctly using it is innumerable.

Either that or all three exits have cars stopped sat there looking at each other not knowing who to give way to.

It is really irritating  :dull:

Haha yeah.

Ever tried to do a full 180 degrees turn on one without getting smashed by the person which assumes you're not gonna go back on yourself?

Its a scary moment.

Admittedly I did pull out on someone yesterday by accident who was completing this manoeuvre...

It can be tricky cant it haha.

Then if you're the one trying to turn round, you end up stopped in the middle of the road haha.

I always try to use a proper roundabout now. Bit safer haha.

My mate wrote his escort off doing that :D

Yesterday some guy sped up to block me moving into the right lane, then took offence to me clapping at him. Stopped in the middle of the roundabout waving his arms at me, I pointed for him to stop further up for a chat. When we arrived at some red lights I stopped next to him and opened my window all of a sudden his window wouldn't open :D Prat.

I love it when people offer to pull over.

Had a large guy offer to rip my head off once. Gotta say. That was the only time i didnt fancy my chances haha.

Quick burst of throttle though and his 2.0tdi was never to be seen again

I can't be bothered with it, I don't want to lose my licence by being pressured into breaking the speed limit so have calmed down and started pulling in, also the Jag just sits at 60 quite happily
