Love this thread, one of my favourite followed threads.

312 uprated discs with the boxster callipers should do with the weight!

You dont want the car to do flipovers.

Yes guys, it's the boot open.

Regards the wheels, it's going from 4 to 5 stud.

So will be looking for 5 stud 16" rims probably, that look like stock Skoda ones.

Not too big and I can get decent sized discs under them.

16 inch elbas from the fabia would be perfect

I would opt for light and rigid wheels. It will give away a bit of the sleeper looks, but the lesser they weigh, the more fun!OZ Allegerita for example.

Wouldn't steelies be the way to go so as not to give the game away with the mahoosive brake set up?

Yer steel wheels, why not go all the way and put a space saver on one of the wheels!

But on a serious note:

1 steels are heavy

2 steels have thinner tyres

3 good luck fitting bigger brakes with steels on!

1. Not necessarily. The main benefit of alloys on road cars is stiffness and looks, not weight.

2. Not necessarily.

3. A Mk2 Fabia vRS can be fitted with 15" steels that will clear the brakes no problem at all.

Of course if the TT brakes are bigger than that then 16" would be required, but they are not exactly rare :)

I'd throw the 16" Fabia alloys on personally anyway :D
