Thought this might get a few people talking.... It's dinner time, so we wondered what the original wheels would look like on it...

Not sure about those wheels; but that HUGE spoiler might give the game away...

Is it just me or is this not right....... they are the TT wheels..... is the rear diff/axle mocked up?

If so.... we want pics!!!!!!! lol

At the stage we are now the easiest option would be to convert it into a pedal car.

wouldn't this be more suitable, Richard

think you're totally missing the point,... Richard wants to keep it looking as standard as possible for the 'Q car' effect. What's more of a 'Q car' than one that looks like a dealer demonstrater!?

what's a hot dog suite?

the best thing about that line was the car was a dealer demo before bossfox got his hands on it :giggle::rofl:

Maybe go with the Auto Express stickers? :D

I'm starting to think you guys have more bonkers ideas than I do...

This looks like decent progress, hope youre keeping Jabba on their toes being the good customer that you are :)

I'm sure you already have ideas about keeping it as Q as possible, what ideas do you have about wheels as i am sure the std pin size would mean it would be a lottery as to whether you reach your destination alive or not :(

Please tell me that the shopping trolley handle on the back is really necessary, as i am personally not a fan of these items unless they are absolutely necessary & i tend to ignore them when looking at cars if they are.

Maybe a qr code on the bonnet linking to this thread ;)

Looks like an open boot to me?

It is the tailgate that is open, and not a spoiler :-)

Yes guys, it's the boot open.

Regards the wheels, it's going from 4 to 5 stud.

So will be looking for 5 stud 16" rims probably, that look like stock Skoda ones.

Not too big and I can get decent sized discs under them.

LOL - thats not a spoiler, its part of the active brake assist system ala McClaren SLR... or it could just be the boot thats open of course.

Really?

You do like to give yourself a challange dont you :giggle:

16" are going to limit you to a 312mm setup but finding stock skoda looking ones is going to be tough.... if you dont find anything in time then you may be stuck with Fabia Vrs Mk1 or octavia Vrs 16" spiders, But they look too old.

SEAT might be an option

I can always change my mind.:D

But I am trying to avoid large (for the car) rims with rubber band tyres, as I don't think that will suit the fairly normal styling.

oh my... how could anyone think that the boot was a rear spolier LOL. I know this is a Mad car but not THAT mad :p
