I must also say that the customer service at Hortons of Lincoln has been brilliant, great discount plus a few freebies, regular updates, and even collection from the train station this morning, so no complaints from me. :sun: Thanks to Oliver and Rachel for looking after me and thanks to Stokey for the recommendation.

The car managed 54mpg on the 35 mile trip home, hoping to better that after a few tank fulls but so far so good, trying to avoid flooring it coming off the roundabouts was a killer as I can tell it wants to kick on, but wanted give it a gentle introduction to life!

Congrats .... Car looks great. Do you have to ask for SD card with Maps when you went to take delivery ? And did you get nets in boot ?

SD card was not in car but Rachel spotted it before I even got in, she got one from the office, it booted up immediately, sounds like they are issued direct to dealers, not via factory. Nets are on back order and they will post or I can collect when they get them

I to have ordered from Hortons and just been told that my car has been sent to port. How long Matt did it take for it to arrive at Hortons And also they gave me a good P/X on my car

About 2-3 weeks after leaving factory, to get to dealer. Once it gets to Emden, it can take upto a week to get to Grimsby, then another week to get through to the dealer.

Just checked my tyre pressures, 3.2 bar all round!!! Must be the same grease monkey that did Stokey's, mixing 32psi up with 3.2 bar Dropped tham all to 2.2 bar. I was putting the slightly hard ride down to the Golus but expect it'll be better next time I take her out

I even rang and told them and the bloke in the service dept said someone must have mixed the two units up, I was nice about it because of all the good past service I've had from Hortons but after being told about, it it's very poor they haven't retrained the person responsible!!!

Wow congrats OP. The car is beautiful - and this may sound odd but the mud flaps really take one's attention away from the standard suspension. I'd go so far as to say it looks like it can take on the hole-filled roads of the UK and Ireland..!

The Chrome trim really makes it though..It's only going to annoy all us who are unable to order it anymore in the Chrome thread!

Also - is there any chance we could have another shot of your interior ? The Alcantara looks stunning but I haven't gotten a proper shot of the front seats - I think it really makes the car.

l'll mention it to Rachel, she said she would call next week to see how things are going. Does make you wonder how many cars they have sent out with over inflated tyre pressures, and I bet not many check them as routinely as us Briskodians! Lets hope they get Darnell's right! :think:
