Fabia VRS remap?

Featured Replies

Hi! I've got a Fabia VRS 07 144000 miles on the clock. Too many to remap?? Nothing stupid just a stage 1. If so where's the best in the midlands??

Plenty of reputable mappers on here. Puck one local n do some research. The mileage shouldn't be to much of an issue aslong as the car has been looked after and serviced appropriately

171,000 miles with a hybrid turbo over here lol. Is your car on the original turbo? Clutch?

Pmd

Do a couple of logs on it first to check its healthy

It's got full service history and its only had 1 owner and no mention of a turbo or clutch replacement.

A few people have directed me to them. Ill give them a call, thanks

Performance torque, wombourne, did mine, happy with it, very smooth

177/299

Just had mine done at maptech custom remapping in brigg east yorkshire today, got 183/340 on the rolling road, generic maps are awful.

Depends who writes it. I'd rather a Motech generic map over some of the so called "custom maps" some "tuners" pump out!

Agree. Custom doesn't mean good.

R tech power!!!

I've had my R-Tech remap for 4 years without any problems also shark

Had mine done at rtech in Hinckley today 180/297 completly standard engine wise very happy with it so far

Just be aware that a remap is more likely to wear out standard components faster if driven more spiritedly. Especially take into account if its the standard clutch and turbo from new. Just things to keep in mind.

I think I'd rather somebody take my car onto a rolling road to check fuel delivery pressures etc and then see what they can do, rather then just some guy who talks a good job whos been bought a nice shiny laptop by his company with a file for each car who just plugs in my ecu and waits for it to automatically change my car while scratching his nads, then takes a few hundred pound out my hands, I cant justify that

Can 100% recommend r tech just make sure your car is either standard height or you are running 17" wheels otherwise it wont fit on the dyno

Don't wanna hijack any threads but what power did ppl make at rtech anyone know how accurate their rollers are they said there spot on but they would say that wouldn't they lol

I don't believe in any rolling road being "spot on" I just know they're conservative compared to the dyno's at some companies.

I used to own a 1.8T and it was well known that if you want big figures to talk about at the pub. Go have a run at Amd.
