I sorted out a knock on the nearside rear brake on my CRX this morny.  Thought as it's dry I'd give it a quick wash. As I dried it off I remembered I'd spent last Sunday treating all the roof seals with a liberal amount of silicon grease.  I now have a roof that looks like it's been tarred and feathered  :@

Decided to change the bogs giblets that have been playing up for weeks now.

New bits fitted, but now the cold inlet pipe is dripping and it's an absolute PIG to get at.

 

Really should have called a man in.

 

Buckets of water for flushing for now it seems. Not popular. . :wall:

Not me but my son  :think:

 

Bought two new 12v/21w orange indicator bulbs for his Polo's MOT.  Bought the silvered ones (£15.98!!).

 

Threw the receipt away.

 

Bought the wrong bulbs - the ones we were clear not to buy.

 

Got the right bulbs.

 

Threw the 'wrong' new bulbs in the dustbin.

 

So I took them out of the bin before it got emptied, took them across to Halfords and now have a £15.98 gift card at my disposal.  Cheers son  :thumbup:

 

More money than sense.

Didn't pu the car in the garage when I got home. I know it'll be frozen tomorrow but I just can't be arsed putting my shoes on to do it now.

In a rush to Nursery this morning bundled my sweet little 13 month old son into his car seat whilst he was grunting and turning purple.

Could have waited an extra five minutes in the house and 'dealt' with it.

My car at 22:17 still smells of baby poo.

i topped up my oil burner (tsi vrs) with oil. Drove to work. Smelt something horrible, lifted the bonnet and found I forgot to put the cap back on. Ordered a new cap as couldn't see it. Made a makeshift cap. Drove home. Looked again and found it. Then had to ring back up saying i found it. Guy said it was already on order as was being overnighted. And sounded pretty ****ed off at me. Perhaps i should have looked harder
