So impressed with the performance of my car yesterday!  to say cutting it fine getting it sorted was an understatment!  aprox 5:20pm thurday evening it was boosing it bolts off!    

 

 

handled very very well around brands even tho i had mid range tyres on it which were shockingly grippy and didnt ware away within 2 laps!    Shame tho late morning, my nearside front wheel baring decided it was tired and made an almighty scream for help banging Paddock hill bend at speed.  It then got worse so limited me to 3 or 4 laps per stint before it started to yelp.  Shame as i was really in the mood and the car was performing so well, but i played it safe so i could at least drive it to work monday.

not really much of an update..    car has been turned into a van for a nice big detailing job tomorrow,   i have removed the darkside stickers, the front jabba sticker and just left it with the rear 1.   oh and this i added...

Light output is so much better with the OEM xenon units.    May thanks to Bossfox for the sale.  

All SEs should come with xenons as standard.

I'm glad wasn't my cup of tea either.

i had to try it as it looked quite funky on photoshop..   plus..  red reverse lights were no good lol 

took a few front end xenon snaps today as i was bored and waiting for the wife to gone out of the supermarket...    had a empty car park so it would of been rude not to take advantage of this..

Love the fact i can see where im going in the dark now!  

Lose the tints and fit 5k bulbs. Then you'll really be able to see

maybe...  tho, margin of light i would gain does not warrant the loss of looks it would loose.

 

these are still miles better than standard lights with halogen or hids in them  

Just sat and read through the whole build thread, all I'm going to say is very well done mate, your fab looks epic (mind you so does your octy) would love to own both I really would. It was a shame reading about the troubles you had with amd, but I'm glad they got sorted in the end.

i never wanted spiders as they so common, but they do look good..      the badges..   in 2 minds as well.....  everyone does it!    

I preferred them, new style, then I had new style front grille badge too. I have my eyes on track wheels as well soon.. maybe. If the track bug bites. Else one of the two will go and I'll get a standard commuter car... probably SDI like Pete.

I had some of those on my Fabia before... they fell off. :(

so far so good..  mine was off my old SE, i swapped it over when i bought this 1 off Richard.  i must stop spending money on my cars..    lol 

Aye I know what you mean... if I go next couple of steps not a lot left from £5k..... so we shall see. Little things for now to enjoy it more and increase performance where possible.
