airbag and loom totally different so i had to be brave and cut both looms for each wheel to make up a complete fucntional loom.   Scary as help turning ingnition on for the first time.

I have PM`ed Pastyboy to get my self a nice new skoda centre badge,  but i still had the FR down the bottom..   so i got the hair dryer out!

until i get a new badge from pastyboy, my little RS badge will do.  :)

Looks nice.

So are you sure airbag will deploy now in a accident?

same loom as old mate,  just adapted.  needed to replace skoda clip with seat clip as it was slighty different on rear of air bag, and adapt earth fitment.  quite easy really  just ar5e clenching.

i have no Airbag light on,

they all the same but different.  lol <<<   love saying that!

That does look pretty good. I want one now. Searches eBay.......

Love the car mate, great read as well.

Did you end up needing shorter drop links with the aps. You mentioned them but you don't seem that low?

APs don't need shorter drop links iirc

i had a funny noise after fitting them so i fitted mk1 mondeo drop links.   the noise went away but after a few miles come back so i didnt really solve anything other than giving my self more space between DS and ARB.   tbh, the steering felt more sharper so theres a small win there.    nothing massive to shout about mind, just felt better.

i think even tho i replaced the top mounts, i think they are **** and it mite be them making a noise, as everythime i jack the car up,  it takes a few miles after for the noise to come back.  its fecking annoying.  i get that funny pinging sound sometimes from the top mount when parking.   Unlucky.

Sounds like bearings maybe rather than top mounts if it's pinging? Did you use genuine stuff?

So it's worth my time then, while I do the rest of the stuff.

thats what i mean... the baring in the top mount. was all replaced with the aps.   i have replacements under warrenty now :)

Good call on getting the SEAT logo off the steering wheel pronto. :D
