i only went there as Charlie went there for his..   im sure he will not mind me saying, but he had the same subframe bolts loose and his gear selector fell off as the bolt was not done up in a track day.  just lucky he was in the pits not on the sopping wet track.

I can't understand why they did all that. I done my clutch on robs drive, didn't touch the subframe or unplug stuff under the battery tray or bust my dipstick (no pun intended)

thing thats really biffin me out is how they single handedly mashed a perfectly functioning engine mount that now bangs its balls off..   i can move the engine with my hand.  flapping about like a **** in the wind

Take it back to them. I would, say you want them to pay for the bits they have broken and it will be taken else where for a full check over.

All else fails threaten legal action. That's just ffffing dangerous.

They won't be getting a penny from me now.

Thought Charlie's car was a one off. We've all been busy and forgotten to do something. How many other people have they done that to that don't know much about cars gone back there saying it's knocking and then charged them for the work they should of done in the first place.

no way will i take it back to them!  i didnt bother ringing them as it would be my word against theres and to start off with it was just broken senders for my gauges. i just been finding more and more as the weeks progressed and its got im me breasts now.

So the forum and facebook can be the decider.    Up to AMD how they want to deal with it then aint it.

Shame about the AMD and all money u spent...

Lovely looking Furby...!! Hats off...;)

They will just ignore it or take the photo down.

 hopefully they'll look into it all now.

Edit - photo pulled from FB now too.

Having seen the outcome of AMD's "work" I have to say that other than Rolling Road days I'd not think of letting them take a spanner to my car.

I was considering getting an LSD and haldex upgrade done.

Not there, not now.

Don't worry they'd leave the spanner with it too ;)

yup everything gone...    left here with no comment too..   says alot dont it

EDIT:   didnt leave a spanner either

AMD must be p155ed :D photo I shared's gone lol

Rather than replying when the issue first went up they've left it now giving your thread a large section of bad reviews from them

not half as pi5sed as i am about the car.  i will proceed in other routes if i have not heard nothing by the end of the week.

Good Evening,

I have just been made aware of this and wanted to reply now, so you know this is not being ignored and you will be contacted. I am not sure why you felt you couldn't contact us to discuss this as we would not have just dismissed you or sent you away.

I will call you tomorrow morning once I have discussed this in full with our tech. I have spoken to him quickly and he confirmed that we did not remove the subframe to carry out these upgrades, so I am unsure why the subframe bolts would be left lose?

I shall call you first thing tomorrow.

Regards,

AmD

i have made it clear as to why i have not contacted you as what seemed to be a small trival mistake Sunday, now turned into a list of stuff.  today was the last straw.

I appreciate your reply and look forwards to your call tomorrow.   Please be aware im a funeral director and some times cannot pick up my phone, i will however ring you back if i miss your call.

And for the record,  i can see the frame was not removed, its a just freashly loosened bolt on the subframe.  ??????

Thanks.

^^^^ LMFAO Lee

FTFY :D

Absolutely brilliant

FTFY :D

Ahaha. Top stuff lee!

I look forward to hearing what AMD have to say.

They'll have to be pretty good in sorting this as the bad reviews are costing them money by the minute.

I for one wouldnt be letting them near my car after this.

Ps. Atleast you pocketed the spanner. Nice blue point ratchet one eh. Look on the bright side! Aha.

Little bit worried now as I advised my dad to get his cambelt and waterpump done at AMD
