hello fabia people.. been on here for ages normally lerking in the octy section. Still got me octy, but as shes so juicy and slammed, shes no good for my daily commute via 8 miles of speed bumps.

So i got this little beautie..

Number 089 (Cwizzles old car)

Many thanks to our resident Bossfox for thee collection a delivery of the car.

first thing i done on the car was a full service. OEM fuel filter, oil filter and castrol edge PD oil. made quite a difference.

then changed the side light bulbs, fog bulbs and rear numberplate bulbs for white xenon LEDs. much improvment.

whilst i was there i gave it all a clean up. whole bumper inside and out, and a light clean up of the engine bay.

Took the opertuninty to Fly eye my head lights and fogs too. not to everyones taste i know but i like it.

Next up, comes a mini Geetail. Some of you may know that before i was in the job im in now, between backing my back and that i was detailing for a couple of years just to pay the bills... so she got the treatment!!

gave the runners a degreese and AC soak..

under bonnet crevisis got the treatment.. (inner wing not yet done at this stage)

so i began the tedious claying and machin compouding

i then took the off again as it looked rediculus!  haha!

then some dodgy geeza with a gingering goaty photo bombed my pic of today buy..

 

some Ronal Avus audi S3 alloys.   love the look of these, just need some smaller tyres as they rocking 22/45/17 and rub!  :(

 

other than new service parts,, had 2 new tie rods  and track rods,  tracked up and attemppted to fit thesee...

 

 

they were the wrong shape, gutting as they sat in my garage in a box....  maybe i should fit them to the octy as planned! 

 

thats about it  i the few weeks i have owned it.  the fuel ecconimy is outstanding and its quick  as you need a daily commuter!

cant fault an octy mate, its never been any trouble to me.  im deffo converted from Audis / VW to skodas now without a doubt.  love em!

I think Skoda got the styling of the mk1s so right on the VRS models.

Mk1 Fabia and Octy VRS are the best looking of all the generations IMO.

I didn't mind the Octy mk2 but it's all gone to pot now with the generic styling :(

yeh i prefur both my mk1s to the newer models. look alot more agressive.  i like agressive haha!   People dont expect skodas to be quick either, deffo more fun. id love to see mr boy racer try and race bossfox`s ko4ed yeti!

Looking good mate, I love the colour of the special editions, what did you use to get the fli eye on your headlights?

Very nice, mini detail makes it look much brighter, more depth to the paint! And not to mention remove some swirls!

Good luck with the tyres, 205's will have a bit of stretch and suit the audi rims well.

did think about it.. to many ar$e holes about to dent me doors in car parks tho..   on the fence with that atm. would love to wide mouth it to match the octy but again in 2 minds.

Wide mouth really suits these! Especially in race Blue

Get an airtec cooler then wide mouth

this is why im staying away from wide mouth charlie.. coz i know it will end up in a big intercooler... then turbo and so on and so on!     i must remember this is the economical run around not a toy.  ..
