Is that sustained, or peak request?

Not sure, I'd guess peak.

Cheers,I can't guarantee I will, as it is a bit of a roundabout route

Sharky is going to Ultimate Dubs in March, looking forward to a great day on the Briskoda club stand :)

Thinking of coming to Ultimate Dubs, interested in having nosy at Sharky!

Keep up the good work :)

Far better than a vRS badge

A. Because someone has already done it (with adding no performance parts whatever, just a few cosmetic bits)

B. There never has, and never will be a vRS Yeti, so it can't be a replica of something which didn't exist

Still love my original idea of a 'Q' car and nothing does that better than a Greenline badge, but at the same time its not really a Greenline anymore!

There's a Yeti intercooler sat at Shark that would put another 15bhp on your Fabia with a little tweek to your stage1 map ;)

How much might you like for that?

It's doing me no good so yours if youd like it, better than it sitting in my garage for the next 2 years!!

I don't expect anything for nothing, so I'll sort something out, but thanks

Would you mind asking Shark to put my name on it - might be better coming from you as it's your intercooler :)

Buy me a drink at whichever meet we get to at the same time :) I'll give them a call tomorrow.

You're too kind, many thanks, I'll look forward to getting it on :)

100% keep the Greenline badge.

If you just wanted a regular Yeti you could have started with a CR170.

Being a Greenline is what makes it different.

Need to start having a think about the rear brakes, if anyone has suggestions on a straight forward upgrade for the rears?

Now the fronts have the larger callipers they can stay on standard discs but looking at Ferodo DS2500 pads:

Seem to be a popular choice for upgrading.

You don't need uprated rears, they're in a 70:30 braking ratio, BossFox has DS2500

Just had a quick check (maybe should have done that first) it has 255mm discs on the back anyway and Tarox Strada pads so should be fine as you say. Next on the shopping list are the track tyres and a nice new helmet ready for some fun :)

This.

Unless you are putting 330mm 6 pots on the front the rears will be fine I expect.

Just upgrade the pads.

My CR170 runs stock 312mm fronts and the DS2500 and it's been good as gold on track days.  OEM discs it left the factory with after 39k miles too.

Discs on the Leon Kit i got looked completely new, not even a hint of a lip on them, ill switched the pads out for DS2500 and the rears already have Tarox Strada pads so they'll be good for a while yet :) I feel like a kid at Christmas, no idea how you wait when projects are almost to an end  :wall:

Not getting Sharky back tomorrow now :(

Dave just called and Ben would like the car for a few more days, I can fully understand why, he's writing a completly new map with no real base to work from as this hasn't been done in the UK before.

Looks like I'm gonna need the hire car for a little longer !!
