Nah monza have been going for yonks, remember them in the 90s. The Halfords version of 1.2 Pro race.

These look totally different.

I might just end up going pro race again like my last 4 cars. Cheaper direct and any fitment and colour too

Since the other half recently 'dinged' my rear black Xtreme on an (admittedly nasty) curb in cold wet weather at about 30mph, it's been the final justification to get new ones (in mid-2020).

Got my eyes on Neuspeed RSe10s or RSe102s, personally. Would be looking for 19 x 8.5 +45mm versions to be shod in Michelin PS4Ss.

Anyone have any experience ordering specific Neuspeed products? Only done a quick search on Gewgle but not found any primary UK distributors as yet...

Awesome GTI in Manchester are the guys for Neuspeed. Been going for years selling their stuff among others, give them a buzz

Looking into Ispiri ISR8 in Matte bronze 19"x 8.5j with an ET of 45 to go on a Quartz Metal Combi

Ispiri ISR8 Matt carbon bronze

The regular versions fit (black, silver) according to the configurator but they have an ET of 42, will the extra ET be too muhc?

I run Ispiris 19"x 8.5J with ET37. You'll be just fine.

18 x 8j et45 is considered safe then on a facelift 230?

Et35 would be too much?

Would MTM Bimoto 19''s in ET50 fit with a 235/35/19 tyre?

ET50 is really safe if we are talking about 8 or 8.5J. 9J probably.

BBS CH-R wheels

19x8.5

ET40

weight - 10.1 kg

tyres Falken Azenis FK510 UHP 225/35/19

BC Racing coilovers (height and damping adjunsment)

the extreme setup that you can put on your skoda (tried and tested) is 19 or 20” with 9J ET33 and tyre 215/35 ;)

Have a had a quick look for some after market wheels but the choice doesn't seem to be great if you want to stick to the 7.5 width. Neuspeed look nice but weLL over a grand for a set. I would quite like some OEM Turini wheels but can't figure out whether they are still available to order in UK.

Good tyre choice. Do you like the BC racing coilovers? How do they deal with rough roads?

Bc racing coilovers are the best choise for me. I say this because i’ve had eibach pro-kit and sporline springs on oem shocks, and bilstein b14 coilovers before, on my vrs.
- the posibility of adjusting the damping is a very good option. They came with 15/30 damping adjustment from factory and it was better than eibach sportline springs on oem shocks. Il you go lower with damping adjustment, you will come near oem or even better.
- height adjustment is between 15 and 70 mm

- they come with upper mounts/ pillowball, etc.
- they have both confort and sportivity in the same time, if you undertsand me :)

New wheels on my mk3 last week.Japan Racing JR25 8.5 x 19 et40 with 225/35/19 tyres. Fit well, no spacers yet. Might try 12mm spacers on the back. Needs to be lowered at some point too.

Eh?

*edit, just seen the comment on CS. You'd be surprised, black or grey obvs contrast better on a white car, but silver just go with everything and are a nice clean look.

Here are the new wheels. As a few have said, I think  8.5j et 45 is as much as you can go on a facelift, on the rears. 235 35 19 tyres, it's fairly close, even with -1 deg camber but hasn't rubbed as yet so all good.

Honestly?

I think you hit the sweet spot with the Autecs and those aren't as nice.

The Autecs are lovely.  One of the only wheels that I'd consider changing to tbh.  Those and OZ ultraleggeras.

Wheels always gonna be subjective. Autecs were nice but everyone's got painted alloys now.. If they were silver and a lower offset then I'd have another set. I'll probs change again in 2021 lolz

Hey everyone,

I got my Octavia recently, it's a Pre-FL 2015 model with 19" OEM Xtreme wheels. I've decided I want to go down to 18" wheels, specifically these BBS reps from CM Wheels when they're in stock. I'll also order some Eibach Pro-Kit springs and changes the shocks to Bilstein B12's too and fit this all at once.

https://cmwheels.com/product/18-bbs-ch-style-wheels-gun-metal-vw-audi-mercedes-5x112/

I have multiple reasons for wanting to downsize, being the poor road quality in my area, cheaper tires with more selection available that can fit 18x8 (225/40/18) and I think the 19's look comically big on the car and are also easy to kerb.

Judging by what I've seen in this thread, there should be no issue running these 18x8 ET42 wheels on a lowered car, correct me if I'm wrong :)
