Yep... Looks like that's an MY15 car

On reflection it certainly does. However a little bit of digging found this photo. It appears to be the larger bolero/Amundsen screen.

Setup seems to still appear on the climate control.

I would guess from production tot France will be 3 weeks (max) so certainly a my2016.

Do You know your exact order date which the dealer had done? As 13 march to 10 july seems long compared to others. Have similar Car ordered as You (1.6 TDI dsg) on april 16th, no build week yet though.

Sorry, I have no idea as Leaseplan don't tell you until a few days before delivery!

The steering wheel is on the wrong side - I'd be rejecting that car.

Nono. Thats exactly where its supposed to be!

Hopefully we will know soon if a MIB1 Columbus is possible to upgrade with SmartLink...

Anyone know how long it usually takes to make updated manuals available? They've been producing MY16 cars for 3 weeks now, but the latest manuals on http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/mini-apps/owners-manuals/pages/octavia.aspx are still for MY15.5. I presume manuals are placed in the car at the factory and shipped with the car?

@Rodge At this point it really wouldn't surprise me if the manuals shipped with the car haven't been updated to MY16! Or there's a separate supplement for the updated Infotainment (which may or may not yet have been written/published)! :-s

On a side note, is there really nobody in the forums that's received their MY16 built car? I can understand UK based folks may not have, but we have people from all over the world on these forums.

IIRC ww22 was last week of May i.e. 3 weeks ago....with build time, shipping & PDIs I'd imagine it would be rare if MY16 cars have landed at customers yet.

There are some cars arriving to german customers. See http://www.skodacommunity.de/threads/modelljahr-2016.97198/

That could well be possible, given that transportation delays are a lot less.

I would expect cars built at the beginning of Wk22 to start appearing in the UK no earlier than next week onwards, as that will be 5 completed weeks from the start of Wk22

My car is in the UK!!! I'm just waiting for delivery to the dealership - it was built last week :-)

Great news, when did you order it?

Mmmh. Testing my memory now... Fairly sure it was 31st March.

Umm...

The title of this thread, and all the discussions about delivery times relate to cars built in MY16 - thats from Week 22 onwards.

If your car was ordered 31st March, that would have been week 14.

Given that there is normally a delay from the time of the order being made till the time that the build week is confirmed, normally around 4.

This would make your build week 18 or thereabouts - add 6 weeks for the normal time from build to collection would make your current delivery time about correct.

I cannot see how this would be a MY16 vehicle - sorry

You may ask what makes me sure of these facts... well back in 2012 when there was a 6mth lead time on Yeti's I created and managed a spreadsheet that logged a fairly large number of orders to build to delivery dates... the thread of which is here

I wouldn't be too sure Vegit8, it was a week 23 build - confirmed MY16
