Mine is still unconfirmed week 46 had hopes as some week 45's are now been confirmed. Think it's common to lock in the week before so nothing until November.

I am still unconfirmed week 45... since July.

That's my experience, i.e. the build week was confirmed a week before the week it was to be built.

Your wish ...

The close-up of the wheel....that's not a chip on the spoke at the 3 o'clock position is it ?

Good spot. I think its just a shadow. Ill have a look on the high res images to see if any clearer.

Think it's just water spots/marks?

Glad I chose Corrida Red now, looks great, very imposing.

After having diamond cut alloys on my superb 2 for 6 years only advice I can give is that inspect the wheel closely if there is any sign of the lacquer damage, insist on a wheel change. After about 2 years water and salt gets in to any crack in the lacquer then the white worm corrosion takes over. This is not just skoda issue, all diamond cut alloys are the same. I was going tonhave mine refurbished, but decided to upgrade to the superb 3 instead.

Thanks guys ! Doh ! I was looking at the steering wheel lol !

Can confirm mark at 3 o clock is just a water mark :-)

Rufu I've had the diamond cut alloys on my Scout. I'm probably the luckest person alive when it comes to these wheels !

Mine still look like new !

Mine arrived at the dealership yesterday. Hopefully pick it up by the end of the week

Got a message from my dealer that mine  (L&K 2.0TSI 4x4) has a build date of week 48, ordered on the 23rd September, so should have it before Christmas hopefully.

My unconfirmed build week has slipped a week to 47. If that's the case I'd rather pick up car in January as opposed to late dec so that its registered in 2016.

Still unconfirmed but now got build week 45. Guy on phone said that he 99% certain it will freeze there though and be confirmed by Friday.

So 4 weeks delay from original b/w. So much for the uncomfirmed build week will only come forward - forums and their misinformation, eh!

I know I'm going to open a can of worms by saying this but I totally agree with you.  For the last 10 weeks I've been told week 45 unconfirmed and yesterday it's gone to week 51 unconfirmed.  Someone, somewhere got a BW brought forward but either the model was due a face lift or perhaps he was dating Winfried Vahland's niece.

I had BW 41, then 51, then 43, then 51, now 45.

I had BW 41, then 51, then 43, then 51, now 45.

more like undecided rather than unconfirmed?

Maybe they decide build slots using the old-fashioned fairground game where you roll a ball up a board full of holes & wait to see which hole it goes down. Three balls in the same hole and your car gets built. What fun they must have at the factory!?

What can you expect when the computer programmes are doing it. No morals or compassion at all  :giggle:

Seriously my guess is just that. The production planning is constantly optimised using software programmes and will change based on latest orders/production achieved. You will be lucky if you get a solid production date much earlier than 2 weeks before. Equally you could be lucky and get a quick build or heaven forbid.....vice versa!

I've taken it steady in mine, but I'm not sure what the run in period is? Just short of 500 miles since last Friday.

In the Maual it says something like don't exceed 3/4 of total engine power ( 4000rpm ) for first 1000km's and no full throttle then gradually build up to full throttle over next 500km's.

I know theirs conflicting opinions here but my logic is the people who make the engines ( rightly or wrongly ) know what they are on about.
