Very sharp !

How many hours for such an amazing result ? 👏

Errr... I think there may be 1 or 2 small fly droppings on the inner side of your garage door... 🤣

7 hours just on the paint and I had a professional do the Paint Correction. The car is less than a year old and done just 5k miles but if you've seen my other thread the paint was full of swirls and marring from roadside car washes.

Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde? 😄

My 2020 Magnetic Brown Superb IV, with in my opinion the best wheelset 19" Phoenix.

Agreed....the 19" Phoenix/Trinity wheels r beautiful and suits the Superb really well.

I do miss having them on my car.

Hi Guys,

I have been searching for couple nights if I could fit 20x9 et37 wheels to my Superb.

I left those wheels from my previous car, when I joined the Skoda club couple years ago.

Wheels have currently 255/35r20 tires on them. Would those fit or should I go narrower?

I have also plans to install H&R lowerkng springs. I think that those would not help with the fitment..

Car is 2018 2.0tdi 190hp 4x4 Sport line Combi.

@Meikkis - 9" wide, with 255 tyres and lowered - u will definitely b pushing ur luck there.

Had to try them on. Unfortunately only two of the wheels had tires on, so I was only able to fit them to the front axle.

Driving around the yard I couldn't make them rub, even when I tried to turn on top of pumps etc. Ofcourse the car is currently sitting on standard sport line DCC. With Eibach or H&R kowering springs it could be a different story.

Slow driving round the yard is one thing but another altogether when you're doing more speed on pot holey roads etc with your wheels turned to round bends etc, personally I wouldn't like to risk it.

I see our point and understand it complitely.

Still for some weird way I'm really facinated to to try them 😉 Ride quality has always been a sencondary thing for me, but still wouldn't like run 30 profile tires..

And haven't made up mind that if I can't have both, lowering and those wheels, which one should I choose.

Personally, I'd go with neither. My car has not been modified and rides on new springs and standard wheels and tyres and even then it will still bottom out on some of the pillow type speed bumps at just 20mph, so lowering the car is just asking for trouble. I've seen some cars that have smashed the front spoiler/bumper where they have hit the speed bumps and then the car has become stuck on them, doing god knows how much damage to the car.

The front has more room than the rear.

The rear is less accommodating.

That's where u'll get most scrubbing, especially against the bit where the rear bumper joins with the wheel arch.

Try them on the rear and see how it is.

@JR RS Thanks! I was sure that there will be no problems with the rears.

Need to swap the wheels to rear tomorrow.

During this evening (in Finland) I have read some German forums and they suggesting to go with 235/35R20 if there are plans to lower the car. Just wouldn't like to have that much stretch on tires.

The eXtra Load index of 235/35R20 is only 92(630kg).

The Superb MK3 normally uses tyres with at least a 94(670kg) load index.

It might be worth checking to make sure that the maximum rear axle load isn't more than 1260kg...otherwise using 92(630kg) tyres would be illegal.

If that is the case, then there is another hidden gotcha and that is if the unthinkable should happen and your involved in an accident, regardless whose fault it was, and the car was actually inspected, and the tyres discovered, all insurance cover could be withdrawn as it would be an illegal modification. We all know how they will wriggle out of a claim if you give them half an inch.

Not too bad for a 7.5 y.o car with 137000km on the clock 🙂. (with 3 kids 😁).

Nice,

But the hardest part is to keep it looking like that, especially with three kids. Ask me how I know it 😉

Nice! I see you've also gone for the rubber mats and the tunnel cover. :) How do you keep it so clean with 3? I have 2 and it's tough...

@doluck : I don't keep them that clean. I only wash them from time to time with a nylon brush and dishwashing liquid and a bit of elbow oil. ;)

The rest of the time, I have to say, they're dirty / dusty 😐

I haven't found yet how to levitate kids on the back row. 😁
