@plamen_333 Hello. "The lights in the mirror come on when reversing". For that, he needs to have a 360° camera.

What was the weather, i believe it could be disabled at low temperature

@Joco776 ok,  if the car does not have a 360° camera. Can the lighting under the mirrors be activated when in reverse gear ?

@plamen_333No, it doesn't work

@plamen_333 Thanks.

Never seen such a mod (but I don't say it's not possible... ;)) . However, front fog lights do turn on upon reverse.

Hello,

Has anyone tried coding the mirror puddle lights to turn on when going in reverse ? In other word code them to turn on/off in the same time as reverse lights.

Can be enabled only if there is a 360-degree camera view

The windshield had some ice on it, so the temperature was around 0 celsius. Maybe I'll try again in a few months when the weather is warmer.

I'm not sure to catch you.

IMHO, upon low temp, you can only disable side view mirrors folding function. But you need to make it mannually by unticking the box in the MMI setting menu.

Low temps don't disable the side view mirror to swing down upon reverse AFAIK. 🤔 😐

You lost me! 😂

Which function should low temps disable? Side view mirror swinging down upon reverse or tear drops wiping?... 🤔😂

I've made a test yesterday, since we have negative temps in France these days.

Thanks you guys, I discovered that front tear drops wiping is disabled by low temps (btw, I haven't found the minimum temp that disable this function yet. 4°C is possible)

On the contrary, tear drops wiping on rear window is not disabled (at least above -2,5°C, I could not test below yet).

Any ideas if I will be able to update battery serial number with a Hex+net cable on a 2017 model?

Sorry I meant hex+can

I think it shouldn't be a problem. I did it recently with a simple Micro-CAN on a MY2018.

Put the mirror select switch to ‘L’ and it will drop when you put the car in reverse.

If you have a LHD to be more accurate. ;)

Provided they've performed the procedure to store/save the memory position.

Hi,

any way to unfold mirrors after ignition starts? Had S3 2017 and there it worked fine. I have S3 2020 now and mirrors unfold immediately after car is unlocked.

Thank you

The wing mirrors on my MY17 Superb open when the car is unlocked, not on ignition.

Same as @JR RS for my MY18.

so there is no way to unfold mirrors after ignition? / not after unlock car?

AFAIK, I don't think so... It seems to be the new standard configuration.
