Still not properly scrubbed in and took a run up to Knockhill and on the backroad up holy crap these are immense.

Road was wet so wasn’t expecting much but holding it in 3rd it just pulled of the corners and went, only seen the tcs light once and that was over a crest when the front went light

Can’t wait to see what it’s like with the diff.

when i was at knockhill i put the cars on the scales again had a full tank and a boot full of rubbish , wheel guns, tools, camera gear etc and came in at 1268kg. What surprises me is the front left weight shows how much the gearbox and powersteering adds compared to the right side.

Diff test session booked too

That’s the benefit of coil overs, you can adjust to balance the weight a little more evenly :)

The diff makes a world of difference

I have to say i am half tempted with the KW V3's as Awesome GTi have them on sale with £300 off.

Can u stick battery in the boot spare wheel well? That allows more options on intakes and would be less weight (on left)  I think all fabias MK2 variants are heavier on left, no wonder they pull that way! tyre tread wear quicker on left side too.

Could do but then comes the issue of usability.

Ive had a couple of punctures in the past and with the miles I do I wouldn’t wanna be stuck for ages waiting on recovery.

Looking at the RTMG sideways kit which may help.

I need to find one of these 'weigh bridges' -

Might not be an issue on your version - but weights added to Fabia MK2 VRS and it appears to weight the Left Rear end down.

Ade Tuning fell about laughing when i asked them to take the sand bagging weights off. They didnt believe me thought it was a wind up.

Yeah I don’t have those weights if you look that corners actually the lightest for me

if you go to a test day at a track or if there’s race places near by just ask if you can have a quick go

Had to change my brakes for the last round of SRCS and swapped from Mintex to Brembo HP2000's and fluid was also changed and every since then i've hated the brakes. Long pedal and no initial bite compared to before and had no confidence at all in them so changing them all and getting my friend George (multiple scottish one make FWD Champion and works for Laser Tools Racing) to do it as wouldn't realy trust anyone else. Still waiting on the custom braided brake lines coming.

might be worth emailing Awesome GTi as they don't list gearbox codes for the different ones they do, Your gearbox code is 02T and mine is 02R

Braided Stainless Lines for the front brakes, rear ones are still in the process of being made as they need to be custom done.

Was surprised how much uprating brakes makes a difference on the Fabia MK2 shell, I could only get 'front ' & 'mid' hoses not rears?

i know goodridge do do a rear kit

https://www.goodridge.co.uk/products/car-brake-kit-for-skoda-fabia-1-4-vrs-turbo-2007-2014?variant=12847975399489

they couldn't give me a definate answer if the rears would be the same as i have drums so having to get them custom made by the same people that do them for laser tools racing.

I've been told that the Fabia shell is very good and stiff and seem welded in places for homologation purposes for rallying too.

When some little stupid insignificant thing annoys you so much you spend £100 to stop it annoying you, first world problems

my Lucas rears (Smaller ones) were  rubber tubing type i think.  These were cut off a scrapper  and repainted.

Uprated the ATE fronts thats where all the stopping power is.
